The carpenter's cottage is decorated in vintage woodworking and logging tools that have been used for several generations in our family. Rainier has a rich history of logging, lumber and woodworking. Some tools have been found nearby. Enjoy a peaceful country setting with deer, birds, occasional bobcat, squirrels, raccoons, occasional elk, but is a short walk to town. Watch deer munch on apples and relax in the shade as you walk around our 14 acres or enjoy them from your windows.

Many of our guests are "travelers," medical professionals working on short-term contracts.

Sacagawea Park is a block away with a 3.45 mile trail filled with beautiful landscape, playgrounds and so much more. Along the way you will see some of our historic sites including our famous squirrel bridges. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place.
