Perfect place to get out in the wilderness and stargaze at night. It is far away enough to feel like a vacation, but close enough to visit the mountains and lake. John (the host) was very nice and helpful. The house was very cute and clean and pre-heated by our host :) The beds were comfy and the linens were clean. We had a wonderful time exploring the property and Al (our dog) had a blast running and rolling around in the yard. Great getaway!

Wish we had been able to stay here longer! We found this gem as we were looking for a pit stop on our road trip. The instructions are so clear, that even in the pitch black of 11pm, we had no problem finding this home. Waking up to the beautiful landscape in the morning was a pleasant surprise and had us wishing we could have enjoyed this home longer. Thanks for being a great pit stop and host!

I was beyond grateful for the host’s quick response and ability to stay in this adorable space during a last minute work trip. Extremely quiet with peaceful surroundings. The space was tidy, well decorated and spacious. I would highly recommend for a small group looking to stay in the area.

Beautifully decorated home, very comfortable beds and seating areas. We felt right at home. We stopped in Ridgecrest one night on the way to Death Valley. I wanted a place to laundry since we had been on the road for 5 days already. the laundry room is nice and clean and had laundry soap provided. Every little detail for a traveler was appreciated!

The place was small but cozy. It was clean, although the smell of the products used was a little too strong for me. A living room rug and coffee table would make it a bit more comfortable. Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn’t working and the dishes needed to be done by hand. Overall it was quiet at night and I found it easy to sleep and I enjoyed my stay.

Comfort Inn the desert was just that comfortable. Felt like home. Has lots of space. With my 4 kids, everyone had their own area. Plenty of seating. The beds and the couches were plush. Hopefully it's available again the next time we visit as we go up there at least once a year. We didn't have any issues, but Olivia was very communicative before we arrived as well as after we left.

I stay at Kylie's listing every year. The accommodations are perfect for my needs. The home is very clean and just a wonderful, peaceful place to stay while in Ridgecrest. I look forward to staying next year! Thank you Kylie!
