What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. Five stars simply isn't enough to capture how charming and secure the location felt. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delightful assortment of local fruits. While enjoying these treats, we had the opportunity to peruse the provided information booklets. The booklets contained fantastic recommendations for local attractions and dining, and the loyalty cards for various coffee shops were a thoughtful touch. The deck, with its scenic view, was so well-equipped that we could have spent the entire time outdoors. And when we did venture inside, we found everything we could possibly need, including appliances that would please even the most ambitious home chef. The bathroom was spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the amenities one would expect from a luxury bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and the fold-out couch offered even more space to relax. Maire was the best host we could have hoped for. She was always accommodating and ready to answer any questions we had.

Loved our stay at Muri Retreat. Simon was super helpful with organising transport and was happy to help with any questions.

This beach house has everything for a very comfortable stay. It was very clean. Decent air conditioning, well equipped kitchen & BBQ, pool plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture and just steps from the beach. Comfortable beds & windows with insect screens creating a lovely breeze as an alternative to air conditioning. Susanne & Robbie were perfect hosts.

The house was great, the location was perfect: it was easy to get to the beach and Muri town, and Cathy was wonderful to deal with and very helpful. We had a fantastic time!

Amazing Host! Tama was absolutely lovely and had great hospitality. Always responsive and was a quick problem solver. When the aircon was not working he immediately had a solution on the way. The house was absolutely breathtaking and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Loved it so much!!

We loved the place! Right next door to a great cafe, right on the beach front. Lovely outlook to the lagoon whilst having breakfast! 2 huge bedrooms with ensuite and large wardrobe areas, plus one room with 2 singles and bathroom next door. Emmy was very responsive with my questions. We would definitely go back given the opportunity.

Thank you to the wonderful Malina! There was nothing that she wouldn’t and couldn’t do for you. Malina was extremely accomodating and helpful. There were no issues with communication, Malina was able to answer queries in a timely manner. Te Rama retreat is immaculate, quite central and close to everything that Rarotonga has to offer. I would totally recommend absolutely suitable for all sorts of groups, families. Totally beautiful and truly one of a kind. X

I and my Family had a Great stay! Lovely kitchen and livingroom area. Lot‘s if space! And a well equipped kitchen and three sleepingrooms and three outdoor Seetang areas. We highly recommend this Place! Hans-Erik Switzerland

We wholeheartedly recommend Kauare Manea Bungalow and our wonderful host, Alofa! From booking to departure, she was incredibly accommodating and communicative. Arriving from New Zealand with our young kids after a long journey, Alofa met us at arrivals, easing our transition. She even brought a ute for our luggage, anticipating our needs perfectly. The house was beautiful and felt like home throughout our week in Rarotonga. Our kids adored their “island home,” and we loved the comforts of a well-equipped kitchen and cozy living room with a smart TV. The location was perfect, just minutes from a 24/7 supermarket and the beach. On our last day, Alofa generously offered a late check-out and transport to the airport. Her kindness and thoughtful hospitality made our stay truly special. We are so grateful and can’t wait to return to Kauare Manea Bungalow. We loved our Time at Tiare Villa. It was spotlessly clean and situated in the best spot, directly opposite Villi’s and KAPS which was so handy. The Villa is also just a short drive to Muri in one direction or the markets and town in the other. It had absolutely everything you could need provided. We did find the bifold doors a little hard to open and close but this wasn’t a major issue, and maybe this was just the operators haha We were sad to leave and we will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Thanks for having us 😊
