Stay in the Ice Cream Capital of the World, a few blocks from the Parlor, across the street from food, coffee, & laundry. King bedroom on the main floor, plus an open 2 bedroom dormer upstairs with 4 single beds to provide sleeping space for 6 people. Arcade games & reading nook, plus treadmill, handweights, & yoga mat. The Grain Bin Lodge and Retreat

Sorry, no children under the age of 12. This large grain bin has been converted into a rustic two story getaway using reclaimed barn wood and many antiques. The 700 square foot main floor includes a full bath, a vintage retro kitchenette (micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, NO OVEN), reclining love seat, a smart tv with WIFI and Direct TV, along with a large dining area with 2 tables. The 500 square foot open loft area includes one full bed and 2 queen beds.

Bill's Cabin

If you're looking to put a little farm in your city recreation, you might want to consider staying at Bill's Cabin, and play a few rounds at the Primghar Golf and Country Club. This "condo-cabin" complete with bar, stove, mini fridge and microwave downstairs, as well as a queen sized bed, fold-down futon and bathroom with shower upstairs. If you enjoy views, consider relaxing on Heckler's Deck which overlooks the 155 yard, par 3, Hole 8.

The Block Studio-202

Spend your stay in a little history at The Block. Built in 1911 by John Groth, this studio apartment has elements of the original John Deere and later Ford factory including the original hardwood flooring, brick wall, and high ceilings. Most of the furnishings are comprised of reclaimed lumber from the dismantled car elevator. Historic photos of the building are throughout the common hallways for a trip back in time.
