Near Gullfoss and Geysir and only 100 km to the capital city Reykjavík. The cabin can accommodate 2-4 persons. One bedroom with beds for two people. In the living room there is a pull-out sofa for two persons. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bathroom has a shower and the laundry room has a washing machine and a dryer.

A small river with trout fishing is nearby and our guests are welcome to fish (included). We have a lot of horses and guests are welcome to take a look.

The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

The house is a perfect base from which to explore the fantastic sights the golden circle and the surrounding area has to offer. All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.
