You won’t believe it until you see it!!!! The most incredible view that just goes on forever…we brought 2 dogs and the surroundings were absolutely perfect for them. Sean was great and kept in touch with us the whole week, even brought us fresh eggs from his hens!!!! Everything was perfect and we had an awesome time.

We enjoyed our stay at Lori's place. It was a beautiful, peaceful and calming space. It was clean and there was everything you could need. We really enjoyed having a fire on the beach. We hope to come back again!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melissa's home. We arrived late and woke up to the breath-taking view. We took a walk down to the docks and it was a beautiful way to spend the morning. Everything was perfect at the house, with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Kary's place was beautiful. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the amazing views and amazing hot tub and sauna. Kary was always quick to respond, and was very friendly.

We had an amazing stay. Such a cozy modern cabin. it had everything we needed and the host was always quick and responsive anytime we messaged her. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice peaceful break with beautiful scenery. We will for sure be going back in the future

Liane's cottage provided a nice quiet getaway. Surrounding area is remote but perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. The hot tub was really nice though available times were somewhat limited, but perhaps understandable given our fairly last minute booking. Would love to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer and the trees have all filled in. Otherwise, the cabin was cozy and well-appointed and the hosts were accommodating and very responsive.

This by far was the most perfect getaway for my husband and I. The one thing we could not stop talking about is how this place was equipped with everything you could think of and I truly appreciated that. From things like condiments readily available in the fridge to toothpaste to even an air fryer, things you would normally have to bring yourself. Outside of that Jennifer and her husband were the most kindest, lovely and fun hosts. We had an impromptu boat ride with them and what a special time it was. My husband and I often do getaways to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other and this place really elevated our getaway.

It was a perfect stay, liane was very responsive and she didn’t hold back on making sure our stay was good.

My partner and I enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed doing a few hikes around the area as well as an afternoon walk on a local beach. Chris provided lots of information about local spots we might enjoy as well as provided the perfect spot for us to spend some much needed time together! Location is beautiful, with a private backyard where we shared lots of laughs and enjoyed watching all of the wildlife as we relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed a late night fire! The house was spotless and provided anything you might want or need to feel right at home! 10/10 would recommend staying with Chris as well as taking the time to explore the beautiful surroundings areas! We hope to be back soon :)
