I want to choose my words carefully because this was a wonderful experience off the beaten track. First and foremost, Maven’s Haven is a mycodestination (word abuse, but warranted) of commune and connectivity: mind, body and spirit to all things earthly. I realize this sounds hippyish but it isn’t. This is a retreat setup of individual rooms, adorable little rvs and sheep wagons circling the periphery of the property and gathering spaces within. There are resident denizens: very likable duck—Baeyard—who shares its pond with Koi fish; roosters that sing as roosters do to their hens as all roam freely; pigeons; and a couple of dogs. None are threats to the others. The main house, where I stayed, included several living, eating and working spaces, a communal kitchen abundantly stocked, and a library of books that focuses on the natural and herbal along with flights of fantasy. The mind does not get wasted here. I relaxed for 3 days and nights, hiking every morning into the hills, napping and reading every afternoon, and feasting each evening—for which the end of season garden offered so much bounty. This is a destination that is what you draw from it, not what it provides to you. I miss its quiet repose, the view and sound of the Salmon River in the foreground, the incessant rooster clatter, and Baeyard’s steady companionship. Beautiful small place, perfect for me and the wife. Bathroom is big with dual sinks, walk in shower. The bed... the mattress was one of the BEST & most comfortable I've slept in. Lighting throughout the house has dimmers it's amazing. Big beautiful windows for lots of natural light. You look outside to pin trees and mountains across the valley floor/golf course. Lots of amenities! Nice pots & pans, oven, washer dryer, dishwasher, bar/island is great addition to the space serving as a dinning table. TVs in living room and bedroom. Great communication with host. Easy check in and out. No overburden checkout lists/chores like other places, just a simple easy checkout with a couple of things to do, take out the trash and start the dishwasher.... how convenient and easy. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Already planning it!

Our favorite part of this space is how much sleeping space there is! As we are a group of friends-not couples-that stay there, we find that this small cozy space actually sleeps 5 individuals easily not having to couple up. The deck on the creek is where we toast our great adventures and leave the area. It is a perfect space to stay for a weekend exploring the area.

Beautiful cabin. We celebrated thanksgiving there. Lots of space and beautiful location. The only thing was there was. Not enough toilet paper for 3 days there each bathroom only had 1 roll for 15 people and 3 days, luckily there was a family dollar near by. But kitchen is well equipped and there is foosball table and ping pong table for kids to enjoy.

Great location and amazing surroundings! We loved being able to walk our dogs to the park across the street. And play in the river. Thank you! We would definitely stay again.

This Airbnb was clean, beautiful and peaceful. It is on a country road but easy to get to. Google Maps took us to the location very easily - we didn't have any trouble getting there. Response time with Evolve was not very fast at first - around 24 hours. (I am used to hosts getting back to me right away.) Once I realized I could message the host personally, communication was better. It was a very easy check in and check out. The home has fun games, plenty of dishes, pans to cook with, and the rooms were comfortable. Its a beautiful home. I would definately stay here again.

What a beautiful home! Right on the river with a beautiful long deck and views from all rooms. A private, relaxing retreat that was hard to leave. We literally left one time (only because we had to) to get some groceries … otherwise we had no reason to leave with the beautiful, relaxing views. The house was nicely decorated and had all the amenities we needed. It was probably one of the most stocked kitchens I have ever experienced at an Airbnb. The record player was an added treat! We will definitely be planning a stay here again in the near future and would recommend this beautiful home to others!

I have friends in Riggins and usually stay with them, so this was the first time I ever looked for lodging there. I would definitely recommend these cabins for someone looking for a place to stay in Riggins!

Wonderful stay at beautiful Riggins! The cabin was perfect for our family of four. Right on the Salmon River! Very walkable to downtown Riggins as well. We went white water rafting with a large group of family members, I would highly recommend doing this. We did spend an entire day at "home" and just hung out on the river, went fishing, and swimming. Kitchen was efficient and had a gas oven which was a plus. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a one night stay here and it was perfect! Very cozy, clean and the beds were so comfortable, with an amazing shower and those are all big wins in my book! We want to stay here again next time we need a getaway! One downside, we had 2 long bed pickups with sled decks and parking was very tight but that’s no fault of the property owner nor was it a deal breaker for the property, just something to keep in mind when booking 😊

Colby went above and beyond to make sure the house was in great condition for our arrival! Will definitely book this again!

The Screaming Eagle Ranch is awesome and in a beautiful and private location. The house is very comfortable and clean with new appliances and great history and ambiance. The sound of Slate Creek tumbling through the property was peaceful and added to the tranquility and remoteness of the location. We enjoyed our stay and give it our highest recommendations.

The view from the deck was breathtaking. In the evening we sat on the deck and just listened to the river such a peaceful weekend. Would definitely book again.
