We really enjoyed our stay in the hobbit house. It was spacious and well equipped with an enormous and very comfortable bed, in a peaceful and beautiful location with a pleasant 2 mile walk into Taos. It was great to experience the earliest iteration of the earthship, and to see how well it coped with the hot days and cool nights of autumn. We particularly enjoyed the shower and toilet surrounded by plants. It would probably not be to everyone's taste - but not to be missed if, like us, you are interested in architecture and sustainability.

Our family of six stayed at The Oasis for three nights, including New Year’s Eve, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Julie and Scott were incredibly attentive and welcoming. Julie greeted us upon arrival and provided all the necessary details about the house, which made us feel right at home. The Casita is a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home that is both comfortable and beautifully equipped with everything you need for a memorable stay. The master bedroom is modern and feels brand new, while the solar room is exceptionally cozy. The house offers stunning views, and the expansive property was a dream for our dogs, who had plenty of space to roam freely. The kitchen, though small, is modern and fully equipped with all the essentials for cooking. Julie was especially accommodating, allowing us a late check-out at 12 PM since we were leaving on January 1st after New Year’s gathering. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made our stay so special.

This was an amazing place! It was clean, well stocked, peaceful, family friendly, cozy, and just lots of fun! We would definitely come back! Great place!!

Lyn and Sid have created a great get away space in a picturesque setting. We had an enjoyable stay. Very comfortable bed with great view of horses, mountains and forest. Definitely plan to return. Very peaceful.

Lucy was so sweet and kind. We had a hard time finding the home and she drove out to meet us in a heartbeat. The space is nice, quiet, peaceful and wonderful. If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle this is definitely your booking! 10/10 will return again

This is a perfect charming place for a getaway. The location in the funky artsy little community of Arroyo Seco was great with walkable food, coffee, and ice cream, as well as a market just steps from the place and yet an easy drive to just about everywhere else that we went during our stay. As stated on another review reviews it’s not ADA friendly as the staircase is narrow, and steep and the floor is uneven, and it would be difficult to get in and out out of the bathtub/shower, but we have absolutely zero complaints and would absolutely come stay again! The interior was cozy, comfortable funky and had everything that we needed. The bed was super comfortable and we slept great. There was a gas fireplace for heat as well as multiple space heaters and it was chilly and snowy the first night and we made a fire and there was plenty of great dry firewood. The fireplace added ambience and also helped heat the unit. 10/10 would recommend.

Stella Luna is a warm and inviting home with dreamy amenities. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked, and more. A beautiful fruit basket, bottle of wine, artisan bread, locally crafted tortilla chips and salsa was a thoughtful delight. Sanjay, the owner, is a reflection the homes' warmth and care. An amazing stay.

Casa Celia is a magnificently restored historic adobe home. The level of thought and care that went into the restoration is difficult to describe. Every aspect of the home is designed to make staying there a comfortable and frankly over the top experience. Korey communicated everything we needed to know well before arrival, and stayed in tough throughout our stay. Our party of ten was comfortable in Casa Celia, with everything we needed for a great experience. No shortage of kitchen and dining necessities, to spare bedding and flexible sleeping options. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!

We highly recommend Doug & Jayme’s place. We went on this trip during the Holy Week, and it gave us exactly what we were looking for on this trip. The place is so beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The night sky is spectacular especially on the second floor of our bougie. We got the peace and tranquility we wanted, but it’s close to everything we needed and all the fun things, too! Jayme & Doug are excellent hosts! Very responsive and helpful. We love all their recommendations especially the restaurants. The place is very clean and exactly as advertised.

The Ranchito is hands-down the best AirBnB property we’ve ever experienced. Book it. Now. Misty has created such a deeply inviting and thoughtfully welcoming space, grounded in an absolutely stunning New Mexico landscape. It’s both central for all kinds of day trips (Santa Fe, Taos, Ojo Calliente, and a kajillion trailheads), but also blessedly off the beaten path with endless trails through hoodoos and arroyos leaving right from the property. I guarantee that Misty has anticipated everything you might need, and that you’ll joyfully discover much more! Misty’s local recommendations and extraordinary responsiveness are gold standard for what hosting can look like. Enjoy your stay!

This cozy casita was like a mountain retreat while travelling from Taos to Santa Fe. The place was just as described -Jen and Heathar are very thoughtful providing just enough for a simple quiet stay. I was able to take a hike right behind the casita and order keifer hand-delivered from their available farm goods. Knowing that I'd be unplugging mostly while there, I was still able to connect my laptop to a trusty Ethernet cable to get work done. I do evening sketches and reading, so by nightfall the intentionally dimmer light in the casita was limiting, but that just encouraged me to get to bed at a decent hour. (Comfy bed perch, by the way!) I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful experience.

The space is a sort of bonus room/apartment above the detached garage. Its at once private but also not so isolated as to feel lonely. The area is beautiful and the hosts are 10 stars. The apartment is darn near perfectly appointed. We used it as a couple to be nearby another group in a house nearby (everyone was skiing at Taos for the week). Its a great space - spacious, comfortable - just great. As other commenters have mentioned the two cats are a terrific bonus - they are really friendly and engaging (they will sit outside the window staring at you all day, very funny). I have a mild cat allergy and it was zero issue - the cats do not come inside and I had no issues. The view on the front porch of this apartment is beautiful. This is definitely not a place for anyone with mobility issues. You climb two flights of stairs with no alternative access. Meanwhile the space is probably due for an update (e.g. carpet getting a bit worn), but that is a minor concern.

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and everything worked. Page was a prompt communicator and we easily coordinated check in/out. It’s a convenient location just outside Taos.

The Location is spectacular for Hunting Unit 51 (A&B)! the architecture is amazing. For us this house was great. This is the first time I have rented a house for hunting. I loved this experience over tent, trailer, or RV camping. One note: If you are looking for a perfect, spotless, Air BnB only, kind of rental this is not the place for you. This is a well lived in house that has lots of very minor nit-noid issues.

This place has such an incredible view of a nearby mesa. I sat in the bed and watched the full moon rise over the mesa, it was spectacular. The bed was very comfy, and the sofa in the living room too. The kitchen was well equipped. And the upstairs had lots of beds for folks traveling with a bigger group. My parter and I just stayed downstairs, though, since it was just us. Also, since they accept pets, it’s the perfect spot to stay for someone wanting to visit Ojo Caliente hot springs, but are traveling with a dog. Lastly, Cynthia was so kind and responsive, she allowed us both an early check-in and late check-out! Thank you Cynthia, we will definitely come back!

We absolutely loved this beautiful little home during our stay! The kitchen was amazing, super cute, and the deco design gave this place such a cool character. The park just up the street was a great place to take a morning/evening walk, and had a stunning view of sunset :)

The house was a great stay for a long winter weekend get away! The house was decorated with local art and fully equip with everything you’d need. Our dogs enjoyed the ample amount of space around the house. Close drive to town, many local hikes and Taos Ski Area. Would recommend!

I recently spent three nights at Casa Alegre. The location was a slice of heaven on earth. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from both the front and back doors. The radiant heat floors were nice and they kept the house warm. I appreciate the ceiling fan in the bedroom and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine. I appreciated the counter space around the sink. Because I’m traveling for 12 days and I’m running and hiking, I washed one load of laundry. While I brought my own detergent, I used one of the provided detergent pods. The kitchen had everything that I needed, including a drip coffee maker and a strainer. Finally, I spent some time watching television and I found the smart TV very easy to use. They have a binder on the coffee table with details regarding the house as well as Taos. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Casa Alegre again and to recommend it to other travelers.

The cabin is just what I needed for a couple nights. Good size for one or two people. Comfortable and cute in SW style, very clean with everything you need for a stay. The evenings and nights were very quiet. I didn't have a chance to check out the farm itself but it seemed very interesting and well marked. This area is beautiful to stay in and just a few minutes from Taos.

Beautiful home, comfortable room, excellent location. Dana and Dylan are gracious hosts and engaging storytellers. The stars are amazing at night!

Our nearly week-long family gathering in Abiquiu at Aimee's comfortable desert homes, Raven and Hawk, was a super experience, unsurpassed in offering something for everyone to enjoy. The grandkids (and adults alike) found endless ways to engage outdoors with nature: rearranging the landscape of river rocks in the nearby dry wash, sampling the desert shrubs' aromas, or just contemplating the vistas. We all slept soundly, and awakened to splendid days and astonishing views of the surrounding mountains. Especially El Pedernal, a perfect position from which to observe its changing silhouette, one of O'Keeffe's favorite subjects. The host's beautiful (and otherwise silent) dogs would occasionally erupt in a great chorus of howling, only amplifying this special place's magical ambiance.

I have been using airbnb for a long time, and have always had great experiences. Star and her ranch are on another level. My children and I stayed two nights, and we wished it had been two years! The ranch is gorgeous, utterly gorgeous, and there is a sense of peace there that you can feel in your bones. I loved hearing the sound of the horses, and falling asleep to the deep silence at night. We loved the huge bathroom and the big comfortable shower; everything just felt comfortable. Star herself is an exceptional person. I was lucky enough to share some time with her, and she is incredibly wise, kind, lovely, and an overall generous person and host. I cannot wait to return!!

This place was FANTASTIC. It was rustic, organic, friendly, with lots of space to roam, animals to greet, hot tubs to soak in, and the stars were unbelievable. I will certainly make this my Taos destination again.
