Cristobal was an excellent host, very attentive and helpful. Our unit was great as well - but it was concerning how disheveled the rest of the complex was. The entire neighborhood appears to be abandoned 20+ years ago, half built, unprotected/unmaintained, some buildings crumbling away. We had two other families with us, our unit was much nicer than their units but we all felt a little strange staying there since it was so empty (maybe 200 units total, but maybe 10 units were occupied, the rest seemed to be falling apart). There is 24 hour security which made it feel safe, the views are amazing, the rooftop was delightful, just unfortunate that the neighborhood is in such poor condition. Cristobal offered dining suggestions, and checked in with us periodically - great host! We had a great time, thank you Cristobal!

Eduardo’s place was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The beach was walking distance and we also enjoyed the pool. We took advantage of having a kitchen to cook some of our meals. Appreciate the basket of beach towels provided. Check-in was easy and grateful for accommodating a late checkout request. Communication was great — he was always responsive. Thank you!

This place is incredible. Multiple people in our group said they slept like a baby every night. Fall asleep to the sounds of Coquis and wake up to the sound of songbirds. We came in mid-March. It got a little chilly at night, and perfect during the day. So many people were asking me about the place when I posted on social media. We left yesterday. I already miss it.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. The view from the pool is phenomenal! Betzaida is a great host and was incredibly responsive to our needs when things came up. Thanks! We would happily stay again next time we are in Puerto Rico!

Jose was great host and the place was absolutely beautiful. Very secluded and private with a private pool we enjoyed almost every evening. Was a nice treat to have a welcome basket with coffee and some snacks. We had an issue with the stove not starting and contacted Jose who got someone out there to fill up the tank the next day. If you are looking for a nice place basically in the rainforest and a short drive to San Juan (30-45 minutes) this is your place

We absolutely loved Tom’s place. He was super friendly and helpful. There was a bar and a restaurant within walking distance. His property is BEAUTIFUL. Clean pool and jacuzzi. We had some inclement weather during our stay but the place was so nice we didn’t even mind being stuck there. Also the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was super nice. We didn’t even end up using the tv because of view from the balcony was so nice. 100% would recommend vs staying in a resort nearby.

Loved our stay at Tom’s place! The location is fantastic with lots of great restaurants near by and it’s a great home base if you want to visit a wide range of places like San Juan and Fajardo. The home is up the mountain away from the main road which made it peaceful as well as beautiful. You can tell Tom takes pride in his villa and gave the extra care to make it feel homey and inviting. The villa was equipped with everything we needed and Tom was very responsive with any questions we had. This property is definitely a unique gem!

To say that Renee is a Superhost is an understatement! We felt that we did not have a host but rather a new friend. She was exceptionally responsive with any and all questions and acted as a personal guide even before we arrived with packing suggestions! Her recommendations from activities to restaurants to experiences were all spot on making our long overdue vacation an absolute joy! So thankful.

This was a great stay for my family and I. We were a group of 9, originally 12, and the space was perfect for us. The three separate apartments were amazing since there were a few couples and also kids. The area was nice and calm and there were so many animals nearby that my son enjoyed. The place was really nice and we will definitely be back soon.

I loved everything about this property. The house was very clean and very spacious. The sitting area and pool area was also accommodating. I would highly recommend for anyone with a big group to stay there. Linen was clean enough tiles enough amenities within the home. Everything was beautiful me and my family definitely are going back.

We had a splendid time! Our hostest was very attentive, she answered every question we might've had before we even had a chance to think of them. She was definetly a 10/10. The view and the surroundings are just like no other, it's a hidden paradise. It's a overall perfect place to be with friends and family, we instantly felt at home. Thank you very much Yesi for making this weekend so special for our friends and family. Will most definitely be staying again soon!

We just returned from an amazing stay at this jungle‐hilltop retreat! The house itself is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and perfectly positioned to take in those lush mountain views—especially from the pool deck, where each sunset felt like a private show. Our hosts were wonderfully attentive, always on hand with thoughtful suggestions for local trails, dining spots, and any little thing we needed. As for the driveway, we’d heard it might be tricky, but in our small SUV it proved totally manageable—and honestly added a bit of adventurous charm. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone craving comfort, privacy, and spectacular panoramas!

This was the perfect house for our family trip. The outdoor space around the pool and the patio was AMAZING! We spent so much time outside, and the kids enjoyed having so much to do. There was also a lot to do in the house! We played a ton of pool, and there was lots of space for board games and hanging out. Carlos was a great host, and any issue we had was addressed immediately. One of my daughters has to be gluten-free, and when I let him know, he went out and bought brand new pans for her, so we did not have to worry about cross-contamination. It was a great house for us and we loved our vacation in Puerto Rico.

Kevin was an amazing host. Very responsive, communicative, flexible, & helpful. We had a problem getting rental cars & he offered to pick some of us up & proceeded to wait at the air port for us. He waited over an hour past check in time for us. Then he met us at the gate and personally showed us the way to the BNB. He gave us a tour of the house & a bunch of local recommendations for different things to do. He was professional but also personable and was very easy going, down to earth. We had 10 people - 2 cars but only one clicker for the gate, he made arrangements to get us another clicker a couple days into the stay to make things easier on us. Our wifi was down first day & the owner got us a whole new set up the next morning. No matter the time I reached out with questions, I received an answer within a couple minutes. The area where the BNB is located is gorgeous, private, gated. Needless to say if you’re staying in Rio Grande this is going to be one of the best places to go.

Our kids absolutely loved the pool — it was the highlight of every day! 🌞 The house had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfy spaces to relax and unwind. The location felt private but still close enough to explore the beach and El Yunque. The hosts made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a relaxing family spot in Puerto Rico with a mix of nature, comfort, and fun — this is the one!

Beautiful home. We absolutely loved our stay. The kids had the best time splashing in the pool all day. Gorgeous views at every turn and peaceful sounds of nature all night long. The only downside to the location is that because it is so remote, there are not a lot of restaurants or things to do anywhere close to the home. That said, we would absolutely return. It's a great home for family vacations!

The home is gorgeous! The pictures serve it no justice. The views are breathtaking. We arrived during a blackout that was taking place in Puerto Rico. This did not interfere with the electricity nor AC as the home is equipped with a huge generator. If the news had not mentioned the black out we would not have even known there was one taking place. The location is near many restaurants. The beach is less than 10 minutes away. There’s a grocery store nearby. It is about 10 minutes away or less, from El Yunque Rainforest, depending on traffic. It fit our family of 8 adults and 4 children comfortably. The pool is about 3ft so it’s perfect for 4+year olds. Not too deep, but we still practiced caution and had the little ones wear their life jackets. Our host Wally was very attentive. He even asked if we needed a crib prior to our arrival. Very responsive! Neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house came with pretty much everything we needed. We would definitely book again!

Great Place! Very clean and a wonderful property with a great view overlooking the golf course. Our family of 4 was very comfortable at the condo all week. The beach and beach club are very close and is beautiful, the entire resort is very well maintained. We rented a car which I would recommend if you are planning to stay in that area because there are many things to go and see. The restaurants at the Wyndham Hotel on site were very good and convenient. We found quite a few very nice local restaurants as well. The car comes in handy driving around the resort as well because it is huge. The location of Rio Mar is a great spot for taking day trips to rainforest, Old San Juan, Seven Seas Beach, Loquillo and many other spots. The hosts provided great and friendly communication via text and were super responsive when any small issue came up. Thank you for a wonderful stay. - Kirk

Loved Arturo’s place. It could use some upkeep (better shades in ground floor bedroom so harder to see in from outside). But it’s a great place and love the location. Great stay.

Jose’s home was just what our families needed. Lots of space to run around outside. AC to cool off at night. Shade outside for the little kids. We had a great time here. I’m already thinking about renting this house again!

We had a beautiful couple of days in El Yunque/Rio Grande at the end of our trip. This is a great stay surrounded by the rainforest and all the ambient vibes. Host(s) were very responsive and kind. The house as some folks mentioned does have a damp smell and there is no A/c in the main room but both bedrooms had an A/c that kept it comfortable for us. A good reminder that we were in a tropical rainforest. We actually enjoyed the decor and the 80s/90s vibe, reminded us that it is a family home. House needed a little extra TLC on the cleaning, as well. All amenities were as as listed, wi-fi was strong, and the pool was lovely! Overall, we would definitely stay again.

El lugar es espacioso, ideal para estar con la familia o amigos. La piscina y el patio es un buen espacio para celebrar cualquier ocasión especial. Buena localidad, a pocos minutos de playas bellas. Los cuartos, camas y aires en excelentes condiciones. El único detalle es que está justo al lado de una iglesia y la entrada y salida se hace complicado por los carros estacionados en los alrededores.
