The stay at Kimberleys property was hassle free, communicative and delivered on all fronts. Any enquiry was met immediately with a solution and even those were minor personal questions or preferences. The stay was a functional one being a base for a sports tournament but it was a pleasure to come back to and enjoy every moment - easily somewhere that could have been used as a holiday destination for far longer (and my family were disappointed not to be able stay longer) but unsurprising that this was already booked well in advance. Absolutely no criticism, this was a delightful stay that overdelivered on all fronts and will be a top search as soon as the next tournament dates are confirmed, if not before! Kimberley, thank you for looking after my family so well, it is appreciated (and by no means the norm as we travel a lot) and you should be very proud of the service you and your team deliver.

Excellent place to stay for large parties. Loads of room and amenities were excellent. The host is great at answering any questions. We will definitely stay again as location is perfect.

We had a really lovely few days, the location is beautiful lots of lovely walks, and a great pub in walking distance. We stayed in the Mistal which was gorgeous, it has everything and was immaculate. We will be going back again I hope. Geoff is lovely and very helpful, a gentleman… thank you!

Nichola wrote clear instructions for our arrival. House is a beautiful, modern, spacious, detached house in a quiet picturesque village with a beautiful view over countryside. Lovely large private garden with seating area. Nichola had welcomed us with a food pack of milk, butter, fresh bread & jar of jam, biscuits - coffee & tea also available. Kitchen well equipped for staying in & cooking- very modern kitchen & appliances. Bathrooms also very modern & showers were great. House had everything we needed for the weekend- kids loved the games room. House is spotlessly clean & linen & towels very new looking & clean. Beds very comfortable. We only stayed for a wedding so didn’t really explore the local area but there looks to be lots to do & lovely walks in the area. In summary- excellent welcome, house in beautiful country location, modern amenities & spotlessly clean, would be very comfortable for a family to stay for more than a few days. Thoroughly recommend accommodation & host.

Beautiful house with lovely decorations/ extra touches such as candles, cosy blankets etc. The log burner made the house feel cosy and there was plenty of logs provided. The kitchen/dining area was very well equiped with plenty of plates etc. There were also lots of extras provided such as washing up liquid, bin bags, tea, coffee, sugar etc. The only thing we needed to buy was some dishwasher tablets. The bathroom was probably the one area that wasn't 5 star as the hot tap handle kept falling off. The shower was also very noisy and leaked so this could only be used when everyone was awake (if you have any older members in your party they will probably need to use the ensuite shower as the shower in the bathroom is over the bathtub which has very high sides so is tricky to get in/ out of). Overall a beautiful house in a tranquil setting. Thank you.

Superb stay at Moat Cottage. Shanie and Tom were great hosts and very helpful. Cottage was beautifully presented and had lovely views all host recommendations on places to visit were fantastic highly recommend Fountain Abbey, Newby Hall and Mother Shiptons plus the York Railway Muesum and Chocolate Factory if you have kids. The Crown Inn at Roecliffe was superb for food with a great menu. Thanks Shanie and Tom we had a great holiday.

Handy and comfortable overnight stop off. Excellent communication with Tom, the host. Quiet location and comfy beds meant we had a good night's sleep! Thank you.

A really lovely apartment, perfectly located on Yarm High Street. Gareth was a brilliant host, very responsive, the apartment was just as in the pictures would 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommend & will definitely book again 🎄

We have family in the Village and staying at Riverview Apt was just perfect. Every morning we were greeted with cool breezes, views or sheep and the River Ure. The patio was perfect for coffee and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Thank for being a gracious host.

Beebole Cottage is a cosy cottage full of character, well equipped, with added extras such as milk, shortbread biscuits, oil to cook with, salt and pepper, tea and coffee. It has an easy heating system, wood burner and a sunny place to sit in the garden. It’s off the beaten track with good walking and easy access to all parts of the Dales.

Just back from a long weekend staying at Gardeners Cottage and it was bliss. Lockhaugh Farm/Gardeners Cottage is in an excellent location - I’m from the area and never knew it existed! Tucked away down a farm track; the site has stunning views and feels very secluded - all we heard all weekend was birds singing. The farm backs out onto the Derwent walk/river so literally step out the gate and you’re onto a beautiful walk. At the top of the track is Rowlands Gill, a bustling village just 15/20 mins from Newcastle, so you have the best of both worlds. We went out two nights during our stay and no problem with taxis finding us (we used Kingsway). The cottage is surprisingly light and airy but still cosy. Well appointed kitchen, wet room and huge comfy bed - we slept amazingly. Struggled a bit with the telly and WiFi signal but we weren’t fussed - we pre downloaded some bits on the iPad and could make calls from the car. Definitely our new base when visiting family in the area!

Chris and Mel were so helpful and very good at communicating with us, the cottage itself was in a great location, beautiful views across the valley and easy access into town. It had everything we needed and Chris and Mel sorted out the travel cot, highchair and stairgate for us before we got there which was so helpful! Our daughter loved the children's books there and we loved the big comfy bed! Thank you again for a lovely stay!

A beautiful home with amazing history in the heart of Yarm town. The pictures don’t even give it justice. Every corner is an art piece. Elisa and Chris made our stay easy and relaxing, loads of things to keep kids entertained, lovely kitchen and wonderful coffee, the bids are one of the best we tried in Airbnb. They proactively suggested things to do around and always easy to reach out to for anything. Lots of things to do around in Yarm and the greater Teesside area.

Jane's cottage is delightful and a great base from which to explore the moors. It's cosy, pretty and spotlessly clean (I'd ask for her cleaner's details if I didn't live 250 miles away!). Jane was also a great host - friendly and very responsive to the questions I had.

We adores our stay with Emma in the Dales! It was the perfect place from which to explore the surrounding area! The house is so cozy and we enjoyed the fireplace immensely. If we come back to the area we will try to stay here again :) thank you!
