Stayed with 4 young children. Great location with a short walk to the metro to get into Newcastle centre. Close to Jesmond Dene for walks and lots of shops, takeaways and restaurants on the street. Great value for money.

I felt at home immediately. I unfortunately had to leave earlier than I'd hoped, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and it's owners to anyone. They were responsive and flexible and understanding with my changing timeframe. If I needed to come back, it's be top of my list. Thank you again. Rich

It is difficult to rate the experience at the property without heavily referencing Syed as a host. This was my first guest experience at an Airbnb and it has proved to be a fantastic way to start. I had certain challenges when it came to the trip and Syed was highly communicative and more than accommodating to a degree that I fully recognize was beyond his scope as a host. From a late check-in, to needing to stay longer than anticipated due to a storm, to extending my stay multiple times. Syed had been calm, industrious amd welcoming in all facets. Every question i asked was answered and any challenge was swiftly addressed. I had his number to call and he would reply as promptly as possible. Suggestions for exploration of the area was answered with the knowledge that only a seasoned local can provide. It was a pleasure to stay at the property and enjoy the area for as long as I was there. Truly hoping a host like this is not a rarity! Refreshingly pleasant experience. Many thanks

Albert Cottage is a lovely place. Everything you need is there for a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay immensely and are already planning to come back. Hilary's cottage is inviting, warm, comfortable and more spacious than expected. It immediately felt like home. We all enjoyed the eclectic book selection. Highlights for me were the artwork and fabrics whilst my daughter loved the snuggly throws. Garrigill is a great location for walks across the Pennines. The cottage is furnished with everything we needed for a few relaxing days away from home. Highly recommend.

Great space for 4 adults, an infant and 2 dogs while visiting family. The property was clean and tidy and finished to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped. The house is located on a quiet estate close to countryside and with easy access into Durham. We really enjoyed our stay and will likely use the property again in the future.

this airbnb was beautiful and comfortable very homly the finshing touches were amazing. felt right at home when arrived had everything we needed and more was agreat locaction in easington where my family live my god daughter loved the bath and her mother too we even hoisted a family sunday roast and my family thought it was amazing this is the place I will be booking again when im back home to see family pauline and Marcus have made a great airbnb for family and friends to stay can't wait to book again

Lee was fantastic at helping with my queries. The location was spot on for where I needed to be. Would stay again for sure.

Great location for the village. There is a little bit of road noise but it didn’t disturb us at all. The bed linen and towels were beautiful crisp white and the beds really comfy. The apartment is really comfortable and has private parking. Gill was super friendly and responsive. We had a lovely few days away. Thank you cor Easter treats too, our 5 year old was made up.

Jasmine was very accommodating, friendly and kind as a host. Had a great company with her two lovely cats - Alba and Stevie! The place looks beautiful, cosy and spotless, I will definitely recommend someone who is travelling solo or a couple to stay for a few nights here in Newcastle.
