Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Escape & unwind at Little Quantock shepherd’s hut set in its own private garden in unspoilt countryside with breathtaking views. Inside the hut is warm cosy & equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hut is perfectly located for exploring over 150 miles of walking and mountain bike tracks through woodland and moorland. The Somerset coastline and Exmoor are a short drive away and there’s a good choice of local pubs known for their home-cooked food. Dogs are welcome 🐶

Stunning Self-Contained Studio Hideaway - Exmoor

Stamborough Cottage is set in a stunning location within Exmoor National Park. The property is on the outskirts of the thriving village of Roadwater, with a village shop, pub and many countryside and woodland walks. Our beautiful en-suite studio offers spectacular views and has recently been refurbished. It has its own private entrance, ensuring total privacy and includes a kitchenette containing a microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. The studio is perfectly situated for exploring Exmoor.

Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Tired of economy class? Charter a stay in a first class fuselage with wood fired hot tub situated in tranquil woodland. Welcome onboard your own private aircraft, step inside to the sleek contemporary interior of first class. Outside, unwind in seclusion in private woodland, a short walk away from the West Somerset Railway and the AONB of the Quantock Hills. An ideal getaway for two in first class, for families there is a bunk bed in the living room area. Dogs at additional cost.

A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

The carriage has been hand built and reclaimed from an old Devon railway carriage into a luxury self contained space - perfect for romantic breaks in nature. Ideally placed for visiting the Quantocks, Exmoor and the Blackdown Hills, it is also close to a good range of shops in the nearby market town of Wiveliscombe. A highly recommended pub is within walking distance.

For the ultimate Somerset experience come and stay in our award winning Yarlington yurt, nestled within the trees of our secluded 6 ½ acre orchard, on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Yarlington is heated by way of a lovely wood burner with main electric throughout. Outside has a hand crafted , covered kitchen/dinning area and a BBQ and fire pit area, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather!
