The breakfast in the morning was amazing, homemade food. The set up the breakfast table every morning and were so quick and quiet you didn't even know they were there. The farm is very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed being unplugged for the weekend.

It was what you would expect from sleeping in a barn! Pretty normal for a guy form middle of nowhere TN. The only problem I had was I kept forgetting to duck under the crossbeams if you are over 6'5" be careful I was 6'8" when I got there and now the knot on my head has helped me grow a half inch. Wonderful place!

Great place! love the lands! so quiet and peaceful out there! all amenities were on point! and great location for the price! defenetly recomend!

The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

As expected, a lot of wildlife.

A lovely peaceful getaway among the rolling hills in West Virginia with beautiful farmland all around. Rebecca, the co-host is fantastic and my stay was better because of her! She took me on a tour of the farm, the two farm dogs Thelma & Louise were so gentle and sweet…great companions on a walk, and Rebecca was very responsive. Benjamin has a lovely property and I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in West Virginia!

We adored this beautiful private home. It was comfortable and clean, and we had everything we could possibly need! It’s so cool- decorated with an extensive library and gorgeous antique furniture. Valorie and her family were very kind, helpful, considerate and welcoming. We would love to come back in the future!

Myself, my wife, and our dog enjoyed our stay at the Roost. The dogs and cats on the property were very friendly and kept us thoroughly entertained. The property is beautiful and a lot of fun to explore. My only complaint was that it got pretty warm and stuffy inside on our second day. It was still a couple months away from Summer so I assume the window unit just hadn't been installed yet so this is understandable. I would also recommend bringing some dish soap as we weren't able to clean any of the cookware.
