This was a very peaceful location to stay. Rural with minimal traffic. Plenty of room my kind of living. I would note I didn’t realize both beds were upstairs in the main house. I would not recommend to anyone elderly or with mobility problems. However it worked for us and would stay there again.

So grateful this property was available. We were nervous about the limited availability of lodging in Hearne. This property was perfect for our large group. Thank you Donna for the hospitality and for accommodating us.

We had a nice stay. Place was nice and close to great spots. Would stay again.

We stayed in late July 2024, and the place is obviously very new. The place has all of the essentials and even gives access to a large open space which appears to be used for weddings or other events. We will be back. I do recommend this place for groups that would need four rooms, kitchen, etc.

Our second time to stay and it will not be our last. Host is very friendly and flexible with check in and check out times. Love the house and the surroundings.

Our second year staying here with our baseball team and we absolutely love it. Making plans already for next year hopefully!!

Great stay, the kids loved the dogs on the place. We would have liked to enjoy it a bit more but due to my work had to leave ahead of time.

Jennifer helped us when we had to make a last minute reservation due to the Airbnb we had rented was under a boil water notice. She held the reservation overnight for us to be able to settle the issue with the previous host and even made a quick trip over to run a mop on the floors with less than 24 hours notice of our arrival. The home is lovely and has plenty of dishes for cooking, cold bottled water in the fridge, and clear instructions on how to find the house, the door, and how to operate the AC (important in Texas - cold water and AC:). We will definitely stay in this home again on our future trips to the area.

Everything was as described. Jodie was always quick to communicate. Appreciated the playset for my granddaughter to be able to play outside.

I recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in this area to give this place a stay. very confy woth all the ammenities needed. Clean, convenient, and comfortable. we loved our stay. Will definitely do it again.

An historic home like this takes constant care renovation and maintenance. Bill’s sharing with guests the many unique features of this labor of love is generous, educational, and enriching.
