Our youth group stayed here and had a phenomenal time! Thank you for your hospitality. We were grateful the place was on a road that was easily accessible. We spent our Saturday on a close by hike which was beautiful. Sunday we went to Boonsboro United Methodist Church on our way to liberty snow flex center. You have a wonderful home and our youth enjoyed it very much thank you!

Comfortable home conveniently located between Lexington (cute town with good restaurants) and Natural Bridge State Park (hiking and great scenery). Being right on Hwy 11 made it easy to find—there was some noise from traffic but it did not disturb us. Hot tub was very fun! We didn’t have children with us but the place was stocked with great toys for them. Directions and rules were very clearly stated. We would stay here again if back in the area.

Great place and terrific communication

We traveled to Lexington for our VMI reunion and wanted something more comfortable and social than booking several hotel rooms. This home caught our attention due to its proximity to campus and its great description — and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The kitchen was spacious, well-stocked, and perfect for gathering and cooking together. The back deck and yard offered stunning views that made our time there even more special. The house easily and comfortably accommodated three couples, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax. Jennifer was a wonderful host — very responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lexington!

Beautiful location. House was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kids. Beds were comfortable. The bunk bed room and a large bedroom upstairs are connected and share a bathroom. Primary bedroom is on the main floor with an en suite. Older kids appreciated the two separate bedrooms in the basement close to the theater and air hockey table. Kitchen was well stocked. Be conscious of the speed limit and the neighbors.

Sunrise Ridge was exactly as described and the amazing mountain views were even better in person! We had a very relaxing weekend - the house was set up perfectly for our family and had areas for us to lounge or play board games. The hot tub was fantastic. The check-in instructions were super helpful since we arrived after dark. We slept like babies - the house was really quiet and had comfortable beds. The host is incredibly thoughtful - little things that you may have forgotten were all there. I would highly recommend Sunrise Ridge and hope to stay here again.

We had a great stay! The house is amazing and the surroundings are incredible. We all loved the view! I loved cooking in that kitchen, they had everything you could need to cook a good, big family dinner. We had a lot of fun without even needing to really go out and do much.

We had a great time at the lodge and were blown away by how much bigger and nicer it felt in person, and the nice homey / cozy decor and details. The trails behind the house were nice and wide and felt very safe and secluded, like we had a piece of paradise to ourselves. Went on a hike in the area and enjoyed the hot tub afterwards in our matching "The Lodge" robes! Followed by homecooked dinner and marshmallows around the big fire pit which the host had thoughfully prepared with kindling and all, ready to be set aflame. Our stay wasnt long enough to enjoy every aspect of this place but we still felt at home quickly and felt we were leaving a special place behind when it came time to go.

This place was wonderful! The air bnb is a very beautiful, unique and fun historical home! Janeen was very accommodating and very responsive! The air bnb is stocked with everything you could possibly need! The back porch over looking the river was my favorite spot! Very peaceful and serene! I loved this place and would definitely stay again.

This cabin is one of the coolest cabins we've ever stayed in! Honestly, the pictures don't quite do it justice. So much character and charm...and the kitchen had brand new, retro-looking appliances that had just been installed and just added to the whole experience! My wife and I took our son and his girlfriend for the weekend so we could celebrate her birthday and they loved it, too. We've been to Lexington a lot over the years and always enjoy walking around downtown, going to Virginia Safari Park and going to to the drive in movie theater. We're planning on going back when the weather is warmer and we can get out on the river. Betsy is a wonderful host and I honestly can't think of anything negative to say. If you're looking for a cozy, cool cabin that gives you some privacy, but is still close to Lexington, this cabin needs to be on your list! Betsy, thanks for everything!
