The location is excellent—just near the beach, though you need to cross the road to get there and the restaurant need 15 to 30 min drive. The homestay also features a swimming pool, which is a great addition, especially for families and groups. They also provide volleyball, snooker and archery for guest to play. Each room is well-equipped with three single beds, making it comfortable for small groups. A convenient feature is the separate door that allows guests to enter directly from the pool area, which is great for those who want to take a quick swim and return to their rooms easily. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, with options like bread, cornflakes, and eggs, which is a nice touch. One of the highlights of this homestay is the activities they suggest for guests. They offer guided walks and hiking trips to Pulau Mawar with professional guides, perfect for nature lovers.

L’appartement est original, béton et minimalisme. Je n’y ai séjourné qu’une nuit, afin de prendre le ferry le matin très tôt. L’hôte est très sympathique, réactive, elle est venue m’accueillir à ma demande, m’a fait visiter les lieux. Elle a fait son possible pour me rendre service, et aussi me restituer un objet oublié. Une belle (trop brève ) rencontre.

It was a pleasure staying at IF Homestay. The hosts were very responsive and provided clear instructions. The house was spotless and smelled fresh, with all the necessary facilities available.Perfect for family! I highly recommend this place, especially since it’s close to many local attractions. We tried the local food at the riverside food court during lunchtime. It was absolutely delicious! However, I wouldn’t recommend eating there at night as the prices were a bit steep. The homestay is also very close to Mersing Jetty, making it the perfect stop if you’re planning to travel to Tioman Island the next day. Thank you, Firdaus and Intan, for hosting us!

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The place was exactly as described, no surprises, just what I was expecting. Cool place to run away from the city’s light! One of my regrets is that I don’t have time to enjoy the sea breeze.. Place and beach was clean, one of the bad side is they dont have lights near the beach, so the area would be a bit dark at night

The check-in process was very easy, which was helpful as we arrived late at night. The house was also easy to find. There are some convenient items that you can purchase in the kitchen, where you place the money in a box. Would recommend it!

Our family had a cozy and lovely stay at Sakura home. The house is clean, well maintained with sufficient utilities to cook foods and wash clothes. Highly recommended for family > 5 people as Sakura home provides cost value versus staying in hotel.
