Stay inside the Fredericksburg Downtown Historical District at our romantic, rustic 1BR/1.5Ba getaway with fireplace and private porch. Located at 104 E Schubert Street, you will be only one block from the MarktPlatz and 2 blocks from central Main Street.
Skip the hotel and spread out in your private house with plenty of room for four! A 2-minute walk brings you to the MarktPlatz (home of Oktoberfest and all our fun festivals, as well as a regular Thursday evening Farmer’s Market with live produce, wood fired pizza, and live local music). The heart of Main Street shopping and dining is also only 5 minutes away. Most of the action on Main Street is right on the three blocks closest to the Wagen Haus, so beware other “walkable” listings.
Rustic roof-sloping bedroom with King Bed. Optional sleeper sofa in common area sleeps 2. All bedding and linens are high threadcount and brand new!
Wake up to a fresh cup of gourmet coffee (provided) and enjoy it outside on your private patio. All the best restaurants are close, but we have everything you’ll need if you’d like to stay in for a home-cooked meal.

Your main living area includes the whole downstairs of the house as well as a private porch and patio outside. Sip a glass of local Texas wine in front of your authentic wood-burning frontier fireplace.

Otros aspectos destacables
All stays occurring over weekends will require both Friday and Saturday night bookings. Please check in advance for exceptions.
Also, note that the upstairs full bath has a sloped roof which can make the shower a little awkward for those taller guests.
Fredericksburg Trade days operates on the weekend of the third Saturday each month and is a lot of fun to hunt for treasures (or cool down in the biergarten).
Be sure and visit the Farmer's Market at MarketPlatz on Thursdays from late spring to end of summer,
First Friday of the month features a local Gallery Art Walk where all the art galleries stay open a bit later (8 pm) and serve wine while you shop.
You can drink beer/wine in public downtown so don't worry about grabbing a beer while you walk around town.
Don't J-walk or make U-turns on Main Street. It's dangerous and they'll write you a ticket (or warning). Wait for the crosswalk to turn white.
Hi, I am your host Laurie. I live near the Jenschke Haus, the Ressmann Haus, Wagen Haus and Rumpelkammer in the historic district of Fredericksburg with my husband and 2 girls. We absolutely love living downtown. You will often find us on a morning run or taking evening walks with the family to Main Street, enjoying a glass of wine (relax, it is completely legal to openly enjoy beer or wine in Fredericksburg) and window shopping. We grew up in the Hill Country and look forward to sharing our backyard with you. I am happy to help with dining or winery recommendations. Willkommen!
