As both an owner of property and a fellow traveler, I understand the ins and the outs of traveling and vacation rentals. Michael’s place is well equipped with Kitchen appliances, utensils, towels, hangers, ironing board, iron etc. and the location is quiet and very beautiful. The Luna condo is right outside the Ponte Di Vecchio-esc bridge which is a lovely stroll into the Village (which has a world class gelato shop in it) with water sport rentals, a dinner cruise liner, grocery store and other little shops. Many were empty due to the economy but enough restaurants and fun places to keep yourself occupied. The trails around the lake and the development are fun and healthy to walk during the morning and evening and the views of the Las Vegas strip just down the road are stunning.
The condo itself needs some guest touches. They provide you an odd package of rose shaped hand soap which when used feels like it was molded with some sort of putty/glue that sticks to your hands and is difficult to remove. Simple inexpensive hand soap may be a better choice. Also, one nights worth a bar of hand soap, and small bottle of shampoo and conditioner would go a long for folks traveling through airports with just a carry on and very little cleaning items. As a property owner these things do add up against the bottom line I know, but they also get people returning to the property.
I will say this for Michael: he is super responsive to you queries and returns messages with a personal phone call. He is on it and that counts for a lot when you are traveling. Overall I would say that I’d stay here again when I return, it’s a beautiful get away for those who want a good nights sleep and those of us who only want to visit the busy strip a few hours at a time. The strip is crazy and fun but I do not like waking up there and fighting may way through half a million people for a cup of coffee. Get the best of both worlds and stay here instead.
