Great home in Yakima's Barge-Chestnut Neighborhood. Perfect for large groups, business travelers, wedding parties, wine tasting trips, all while overlooking Franklin Park. We have a brand new remodeled kitchen, access to a pool shared with one other home. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms and is fully furnished, you will have a great time. Go for a nice walk or take the kids down to the park. Just three minutes from Starbucks & food, and five minutes from Central Yakima.
We just finished our remodel on the home in May of 2017. The kitchen is fully furnished and new. There are three average sized rooms each upstairs with one queen sized bed. Downstairs is a bunk-bed in the fourth room with a common area with a futon that coverts to a bed. There is also a laundry washer and dryer. The house has a very large pool (42' X 20') with diving board and deep end that goes to 8' deep.
Disponible para huéspedes
You will access to the whole house and garage (great for bikers).

Our family purchased the home in the middle of April and we are excited to join the Air B&B community. Selfishly we bought the house for the pool which is amazing. We have built a pathway from our house to the house and there is a privacy fence for both the renters as well as our swimmers. The house has its own separate back patio then there is a common area at the pool which also has a fiver-burner propane barbecue if you want to cook outside as well as inside. You will sometimes see my kids playing in the pool but only during daylight hours on days we do not have school. There is a white vinyl fence so we don't look inside the home giving you privacy when we are using the pool and vice-versa.
First things first, make yourself feel at home. The entire house is yours and we will do our best to stay out of your way except for some minor gardening, taking out the trash (on Thursdays), and you will probably see some of my kids swimming in the pool on warm days.
Upstairs television has basic cable. If it doesn’t work at first hit the input/hdmi cable button on the Samsung remote. The cable is connected to the hdmi cable and does not run on antenna. If you can’t figure it out just call me and I’ll come over and hit the right button for you.
Downstairs television has a DVD player and is connected to the internet if you want to use your personal Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. Just remember to sign out before you check out.
We have frequent visitors checking in and out. Please text me when you leave because if we get the house cleaned early we extend early booking to our next set of guest. Likewise if we don't have anyone coming next, we let you stay to as late as 3:30pm on your check-out day.
If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to call, text, or stop next door and we will be here to help you.
Regards, Erik & Aleah
Cleaning supplies: Most basic items are in the upstairs bathroom (extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Clothes washer: Is located in the garage. We’ve provided detergent and fabric softener.
Pool: Fair game whenever you want to go for a swim. There is no lifeguard so proceed with care if you have kids. If you are uncomfortable with the pool safety please let me know and it has an automatic closing mechanism that I can close so there is no danger of young ones falling in. I will even show you how to open and close it if you wish.
We do recycle here in Yakima and if you would like the recycle bin is downstairs in the garage. Unfortunately, the City of Yakima does not recycle glass. The only items that can be recycled are cardboard, plastic if it is washed out, and cans.
If you forgot something: Just let us know and frequently we have extra supplies at our house. We are a family and buy in bulk at Costco!
There is no smoking in the house, if you need to smoke please do so outside on the back patio or by the pool (tobacco only, no marijuana).
1. It is getting hot in Yakima this time of year. Feel free to turn on the air conditioning.
2. If you want a fan to circulate the air in the house, we have two fans located in the garage.
3. The inside door in the garage is self-locking so if you close it while you do laundry just be aware you will have to go out through the garage door and back in through the front door.
I'm a very active person part of a very active family born and raised in the Northwest. If not doing yardwork, you may find me backpacking, coaching track or cross-country, or enjoying my Chesapeake Bay Retriever Dibaba (I name all my dogs after Ethopian runners). My wife and I are also really into craft beer and good wine from the Yakima Valley.
