Very unfortunate and surprised to receive this highly inaccurate review. To provide necessary correction, I will add:
-As stated on the listing, both my roommate and I are physicians with highly unpredictable and busy schedules. As such, we come and go frequently and are not able to interact with every guest. We park in the two-bay garage and use this as our access to the house, and therefore ask that guests park immediately in front of the house on the double wide, dead-end street, so as we may get into/out of the house and garage.
-Also as stated on the listing, it is requested that shoes be removed when you get home to keep the house tidy for guests.
-Never once was the guests room entered, nor the private room thermostat adjusted. Additionally, as it was in the 60s/70s all week and my roommate and I run on the warm side, the heater was turned down in the private areas as the windows could be cracked to let the spring air in.
-A stack of fresh towels (4-5) and wash clothes are available in the guest restroom, for which the guest used... not even sure what else to say on this one.
-Second bedroom is as pictured and described, with blinds, and has been comfortably used with the air mattress with other guests. Air mattress is set up upon request, as stated; this couple opted to share the king bed.
-House is 10 minutes from downtown, also as stated, and as can be seen on available map view.
Again, I feel that each of these critiques were simply unfortunately and blatantly wrong, and fear this guest was perhaps looking to provide negative commentary just for the sake of doing so. For each guest I have hosted (including this one), I have provided my personal cell phone number upon arrival and invited any and all requests/accommodations/concerns at any time... not once did this guest share a single concern during her stay regarding any of these supposed issues; I do think this guest may be better suited avoiding AirBnB in the future, as it seems her expectations and experiences are not in line with reality.
