Bold, Trina Turk orange or blue vibrant colors characterize the bedding on the comfy queen size mattress in this bedroom. Or sometimes it'll be Jonathan Adler or Tommy Bahama. From the comfort of bed guests can enjoy their favorite movie on dvd or stream other entertainment choices from ROKU directly to a 50" flat screen television, and there's a Blu Ray DVD player too. easy wifi and plenty of places to plug in for your computer, for the power supply or use the big TV as a monitor. There's ample storage for your things in the bedside tables, and in the mirrored closet, plus the bathroom (stocked with toiletries, hairdryer, etc) is a couple steps outside the bedroom door. Blackout drapes keep most of the intense sun out in the morning.

As your host, my ultimate goal is to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. If you are having issues, concerns or just plain old questions talk with me or my assistant. With that in mind, I will be available to help you get settled in, can offer advice and directions to local attractions and events, or to address any other questions you may have. Aside from that, unless you want to be shown around our magnificent resort oasis by me, I will allow you to enjoy your stay in a style that works best for you, whether it's to white party, music fest, or pleasure, just sitting next to the pool or touring the area. 3 of my favorite attractions are the Tramway, Joshua Tree National Park, and The Living Desert, plus, of course there must be a 1000 shops or more at the neary Cabazon Outlet Mall. There's casino gambling, tennis, swimming, art gallery & museum hopping, biking on trails , hiking/walking, and cooling off with a delicious date shake. I am usually here or near and closeby if you need assistance.

As an added treat, a full cooked breakfast is sometimes available to all guests, but everyday we have guests a continental breakfast of rolls, bagels, muffins, croissants, jelly, cereal & milk & fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juices, etc. will be available. Please let me know ahead if you have any favorite breakfast foods. Or any other special considerations. All beverages - bottled water, beer, wine, soda, juices are complimentary all the time; that's because in a dry heat environment it is easy to get dehydrated and not even realize it.
We hope that you enjoy your stay!
I would like my guests to be respectful of the property and the land, and be kind and considerate. I am pretty tolerant of most things, but please smoking only outside on the patio. Check in/out is flexible. Be sure to give me the gate card back or leave it next to your bed. You need a key for the pool & spa, which I will leave out. The local law in the city of Palm Springs require that as a host I register with them (My TOT #PS6222)I do have a TOT number and signs are posted & paperwork is available to review on request, and generally I collect 11.5% TOT (transient occupancy tax) on the base rate for each room but not the cleaning, security deposit, breakfast, or unlikely but any other services for which I may charge. If your stay is 29 days or longer, it does not apply. You can pay that amount by cash, check or credit card to me in advance of your visit or upon arrival. Airbnb handles tax collection in some jurisdictions but not Palm Springs. You should always travel with some kind of even short-term travel insurance (and i can recommend one to you), airBnB covers me for a certain amount of liability insurance, and the $500 security is not actually a hold on your credit card or a cash deposit that gets reimbursed but it does allow airbnb to charge your card if there's any damage or destruction to the premises up to that amount. The neighborhood is gated and safe, and free parking is on the street right in front, so you can take a peek at any time to make sure your car is OK. I have not had any problems like that in the entire 12 years i have been the primary resident of Chez Shoe. Chez is French for house, and Shoe is short for my last name, Schumacher.
So bienvenue, bienvenidos, and welcome to my home! Have a happy stay.
