Charming yellow studio cottage nestled in our quiet yard.. The studio is bathed with morning sunlight and looks out over a spacious backyard. We're seconds from restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and are on the bus route!
Our cottage is in literally the most central location in Baton Rouge. Enjoy a convenient location but don't sacrifice a peaceful environment! Your studio apartment, nestled privately in our backyard, is the perfect stop whether you're here for days or weeks! There is a sink and kitchen counters with mini-fridge, small sofa and queen size bed. For those staying longer who need to do laundry, we allow access to our laundry room in our house as needed. Enjoy a morning walk to the nearby park or catch the bus to anywhere in town. There's also ample parking for our guests who will have a vehicle.
Disponible para huéspedes
You will have access to a private studio apartment, separate from our house and nestled privately in our fenced yard. You have your own private entrance through a gate in our yard. We provide a small "mini-kitchen" which is just a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee-pot and some counter space.
Atención a los huéspedes
I live in the main house with my wife. As a real estate agent I know a lot about the area and am happy to answer any questions. If you see either my wife or I around, we'd love to chat! As an agent, however, I stay very busy, so please just text me if you have questions, etc.. If we're not too busy and our guests want to, we love to have a cup of coffee, grab dinner, hang-out, etc. with our guests.
Otros aspectos destacables
We do have a puppy (Emmy) who sometimes runs around the backyard. She is very friendly.
We're very relaxed people but expect all guests to treat our house as they'd like their own to be treated and to leave the space in as good of condition as when they arrived. No additional guests are allowed except for those included in the reservation. No smoking allowed on premises! Pets are considered on a case by case basis.
Abby and I love meeting new people so we're always open to grabbing a cup of coffee with our guests...if they want. But for those that want privacy, that's fine too!
We are avid international travelers and adventure enthusiasts. Our travels have brought us all over the world - 21,500 ft. mountain summits in Bolivia, the Base Camp of Mt. Everest, horseback riding in Mongolia, the pyramids in Egypt, the Taj Mahal, Paris, Great Wall of China, African Safari's - the list goes on and on! We live to travel and experience new things!
I am also Director of a non profit, CompassionAsia, that conducts humanitarian projects in South Asia.
When in town, I make my living as a professional real estate agent and also have spent about 10 years as a professional photographer.
