Very cute house with lots of space. Host was very quick to respond and very friendly throughout the entire stay. Nice place to stay in that area.

This place was amazing and you were a great host!! We absolutely love it and it helped make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect.. the only bad thing about it was the bar and some of the parking but it was amazing!!

We started our stay with a little hiccup. But that was made right in a matter of minutes thanks to Benjamin’s quick and kind response. The house was clean and had ample linens and extra blankets. The coffee maker was a huge relief to see! I was able to prepare our meals with the pots, pans and utensils provided with ease. We are planning a stay in the summer and will be looking for availability here before we try to book anywhere else. The campground was very quiet and easy to access. Definitely a good value for the space my family had to stretch out.

The home was very clean. It sat off the road and had a fenced back yard so our dog could run in the yard without worry. It was warm and cozy inside. Deer walked right through the yard! I took pictures of them. It was close to restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay here again!

Our family had an amazing stay! The teenagers were thrilled with the pool table in the basement and the hot tub—it kept them entertained the whole time. The views were absolutely breathtaking, a real highlight of the trip. We also appreciated the blackout curtains and sound machines, which made sleeping incredibly peaceful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Planned a last minute trip to Houghton lake. Joe’s place was great to stay at with the family. He made arrangements for us to use the pontoon even though he was ready to pull it out of the water. The kids enjoyed the garage full of games, and the view was beautiful sitting in the sun rooms. We will be back!

Perfect for a fishermans getaway. A few minutes drive from multiple boat launches for Houghton lake. Tons of good restaurants also within a few minutes away. Family fare right around the corner for those that need to do some shopping for forgotten essentials, or those who want to pick up food to cook for themselves. The place was very clean, and comfortable environment. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. 10/10 would book again!

This place was absolutely perfect. We were up for deer camp and the house had everything we needed! It made packing so much easier knowing they had everything from sheets to towels provided for us. They responded super quickly and were so friendly! Pretty sure we found a new yearly spot for our deer camp!

It was a great stay, the house is close to the lake, couple of minutes walking, nice and peaceful surroundings. Clean and comfortable.

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Our 10th family airbnb, and by far the most thought out, stocked, resourceful home experience we have had. Patrick truly lets you live there! Multiples of everything! Trash bags Paper towels Tons of food seasonings! Ikea and trader joes items! Air fryer 3 coffee pot options: Keurig type Pour Over Regular brew! Dog potty bags! Many more - we were cared for from day one. It was a fully stocked home like a family lives there daily… Top Notch!!!

We had a great weekend at Roseann‘s place on the lake snowmobiling access to restaurants access to the lake. It was just a great time. Everything we needed was in the home and the home was beautiful. Thank you, Roseann.

This was a great cabin located directly on the lake. Our purpose for the trip was to go ice fishing and snowmobiling and the cabin was in an awesome location, great for warming up, getting cozy, and relaxing! We felt right at home! This would be a perfect location to book in the summer as well! We would definitely stay again in the future.

Second stay at Debra’s place. Will be back the next time we are able. Super close to trails. Great location to several restaurants and the grocery store. Debra is always responsive and a fantastic host. Love the yard for the pups. Comfortable and roomy! The king bed is a plus as my spouse normally ends up sideways and taking up the whole thing lol

We had a great experience! The house was clean and as described. Within walking distance to a public lake access and the outside area was great as well. The grill, fire pit and fire wood were all perks. Amanda was responsive and organized giving detailed instructions upon arrival and for check out.

We loved our stay at Kait’s Kozy Korner! It was cute and comfortable, and perfect for our weekend snowmobiling trip with our adult kids. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed for dinner in on our first night. We visited Copper Kettle Distilling for dinner the next night and had good food, drinks and a lot of fun. Our first time to Houghton Lake and we would love to come again!
