The Redwood Retreat is the most amazing place. It offers everything you could wish for. Everything in this house is thoughtful and well-appointed. We felt right at home and enjoyed our holiday there, even when the weather turned nasty for three days. This house offers the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a day of adventure and activity. Thank you so much for the most beautiful time we had.

Great location, close to the town center and within walking distance to Whakarewarewa. Home was spacious, clean and in a peaceful neighborhood.

Fantastic accommodation and hosts. The house is lovely and well equipped. The back deck and pool area is amazing. Very secluded. The hosts were also very helpful at returning a couple of items left behind. Top accommodation.

We had a great stay, great hosts, great place. Had everything we needed with lots of space. We had a noise complaint due to all the laughter coming from our house (3 adults), but given the house is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood (the neighbours’ proximity is very close to the house), this was no surprise. Our lovely hosts checked in on us and made sure we were ok. Thank you very much.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Felt very homely and our hosts were so accomodating after a long travel day. The views from the house and location were central to everything. Would definitely book again!

I stayed at Mike and Annemarie's with my family and my sister and her family and we had the best stay. The place was large enough to fit all of us comfortably and it was exactly as described - very warm and very comfortable. The geo thermally heated pool was put to good use every day, even during rainy days, the kids enjoyed it immensely! Thank you so much, we will be back!
