Such a beautiful, clean, tidy, gorgeous space with a cosy fireplace that is simple to light, warm beds and perfect water pressure in the shower - exactly what the dr ordered for all 3 of us, and the four legged one with a well fenced-in section... Super close to the beach and a back gate that leads down to the awa with a short walk to the glorious Butter cave and 'flowerpots'.. Easy communication with hosts, and we truly appreciated the early/late check-in/check-out negotiations.. Friendly locals, who meet in the carpark at the top of the driveway on the daily, are keen to share fishing tips etc, and this homely little bach is very close to the best butchery and to the Awakino pub which served us up some deliciously fresh seafood - it was seriously hard to leave Mokau!!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Kuratau genossen. Die Lage der Unterkunft unmittelbar am Lake Taupo ist phantastisch. Wir konnten direkt vom Grundstück an das Seeufer und dort schwimmen. Das Hazs bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Hervorzuheben ist ausserdem die unglaubliche Ruhe fern von technischen Geräuschen, nur Vögel, Wind und Wellen. Die Kommunikation mit Barb war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie war hilfsbereit und reagierte rasch auf unsere Anfragen. Schade, dass wir nach 6 Tagen abreisen mussten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This house was perfect for our family group of 9 adults. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking large meals, and it was great having two full bathrooms. The fire and some heaters kept us warm at night.

loved this whare, stunning views of the lake. opened up the conservatory windows, enjoyed the views and listening to the Tui with a cuppa each morning. Had everything that we needed a couple of minutes drive from the wedding we attended. Comfy beds lots of bathrooms. Would definately recommend as a great get away to R&R for the weekend

The host is very nice and great communicator. The house was perfect for us and a great space for everyone. Nice private and fenced off. The spa was good to have as well. Definitely will book again when we come home to stay.

Exceeded our expectations - well-equipped, warm, beautiful, lots of room yet so cosy - perfect holiday home for our family getaway. The stunning view we got to wake up to was definitely the cherry on top. Bev is also super responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en Nueva Zelanda 😍 Todo muy limpio, bonito y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia estupenda. Hay mucho espacio para poder colocar dos maletas grandes sin que molesten, un baño grande y lo mejor es la cocina, con todo tipo de utensilios muy bien cuidados para poder cocinar. Además había muchas opciones para desayunar, todo muy bueno. Pudimos hacer la colada y hay una zona de terraza vallada para el alojamiento, todo muy bonito. Sher y Carty han sido encantadores con nosotros, siempre pendientes de que todo fuese bien, interesándose por nosotros y dándonos recomendaciones. Sin duda un sitio para repetir, hemos salido de allí encantados.
