We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

It was a great peaceful Escape for the weekend. The hosts were very communicative and the place was very clean.

My family and I needed a weekend getaway and this property was local and great if you want to disconnect. The scenery is amazing. The view from the master bedroom is breathtaking. You literally do not have to leave the resort unless you absolutely have to. They have restaurants. There’s an area where you could play pickle ball putt putt, tennis desert 18 hole golf course heated swimming pool sauna. The price was also a steal. The only thing we couldn’t do was go fishing because the lake will be closed for 2025 due to the cleanup of the past hurricane I absolutely recommend this property.

Cute place for a getaway with 2-4 people. Beautiful deck, small kitchen with what you need for quick cooking, coffee on hand, bathroom nice with what you need, clean and tidy. Loved the convenience to everything to do in the area. Kids loved the pool! I loved the zip line just 15 mins up the road (not included but highly recommend). Very responsive and helpful host. Lake Lure and views are breathtaking.

it was a wonderful stay and Joy was a great host. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The condo was very comfortable to stay in for 4 of us and has part of the lake right behind it which makes it serene. The check in was smooth , wifi worked without a problem , parking is right in front of the unit, the neighborhood is quiet, and hiking trails are close by. Important to know that you may have to drive a bit for getting groceries etc if you plan to cook dinners. Asheville downtown is about an hour away with 20 min of highway time and other 40 min is winding roads getting to the scenic community. That part of the drive is quiet dark after sunset. Overall, it's a great place for R&R, and Joy is a very warm and responsive host - we would love to come back again soon. Thanks Joy.

I loved this little private stay in Lake Lure. after the destruction from the hurricanes, it's amazing to see how strong the community is, how positive their outlook is, and how they've grown closer together through this. Melissa's place was extremely clean, quiet, and BEAUTIFULLY surrounded by the Carolina mountains. I even saw a black bear driving up to the property late at night! the neighborhood is quiet, we honestly didn't think anyone else was around until we saw another car. Overall, a BEAUTIFUL stay. Even with the damage from the hurricane, there was still a ton to do nature-wise, and we stopped at the Gorge zip lining and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST. I definitely recommend this stay 🥰

We had a fantastic stay at Kenji’s place. It’s exactly as described. Easy check-in and the place easy clean and tidy. Access to Rumbling Bald is awesome, with so much to do near by. Would love to stay again. Perfect for our family of 3.

April & Derek’s condo was beautiful and included all the necessities and more that we enjoyed while staying there - from washer pods, dryer sheets, extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee pods & seasonings. The one and only down side was the lake was inaccessible and drained on the side we were facing because of the restoration work due to hurricane devastation. We were able to take the kids to the indoor pool, we played mini golf and corn hole and they also had an Easter egg hunt & visit from the Easter Bunny on Saturday. We would love to return when the lake has been restored because it’s a very nice resort only two hours away from us. Oh and the views driving around the towns are amazing.

A perfect home base for a couple visiting this area. Very comfortable, clean and well appointed with everything a guest needs. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay again.

What a perfect place! Everything was just as pictured and stocked with everything you would need. We truly felt like we were at second home and not a rental. Home is extremely clean and comfortable with peaceful and beautiful surroundings! We really enjoyed our time there!

The house was big and well furnished. The access to the pools and tennis courts is only a few minutes walk. The starter kits in the bathrooms and kitchen are more than enough. The play room was great! The wifi was a bit unstable but it satisfied our basic needs. The community takes extremely good care of the surroundings. Perfect for a family vacation!

This place was incredible. We had a group of friends and all of our kids and we all had such an amazing time and made so many incredible memories. It was everything we could have wanted and more! Jackie really thought of everything. There wasn't a single issue the entire time, everything we possibly needed was there. It was stunning and so relaxing. Jackie was an incredible host who was so accommodating and responsive. We were all blown away by the house, how clean it was and everything that was provided. The amenities were amazing and totally unexpected. We will 100% stay here again in the future and highly recommend for anyone looking for places to stay in the Lake Lure area.

The location to the resort and all the activities included resort access were amazing. It felt like summer camp for the whole family! For families, it's important to note that there isn't really a convenient place to dine (although the weather was nice so we used the porch a lot) and the apartment is wide open (including the bathroom vanity/sink). The kitchen was sparsely populated with dishes, etc. Most noteworthy, it was the least seamless check-in I've experienced. There is no cell access and the unit number was not clearly presented across the check-in materials so we had borrow a neighbor's phone to call the host to get this info. Then the keypad was not functional so we had to drive to a place with service to get in contact with the host again.

We cannot say enough good things about Darlene and her wonderful mountain retreat! The home was so cozy, clean, and well stocked for a restful weekend in the mountains! We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch and the hot tub. It’s the perfect spot for a nice cup of coffee or tea with a beautiful Mountain View. The resort at Rumbling Bald was very nice! Our kids enjoyed a round of mini golf (small additional fee) and played corn hole and chess (for free). We will certainly be back! Darlene was very kind, accomodating and responsive! We were extremely pleased with our stay and hope to be back!
