Paul and Maggi were great hosts. They went out of their way to meet and greet me and were extremely helpful during my stay. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb properties but this one has to be one of my favourites. The location is very private and peaceful and I felt very relaxed during my stay. I’m sure I will return at some point.

What an incredible stay! Very convenient for our intended stay, and great value for money! Upon meeting Brian, he was very friendly and incredibly helpful in regards to showing us how to work everything in the home. It’s a lovely little secluded place with excellent restaurants and pubs in the area, and it’s right next to a walking track which could provide ample enjoyment for those who love to stretch their legs. Would love to come and stay again!

Beautiful surroundings, fantastic shed - even more impressive as it was built from scratch and is so well finished as well as comfortable. Philip and Esme were both very accommodating and friendly, good communication throughout, we had a really lovely stay. And the weather was glorious! Thank you so much for sharing your space with us, it's a hidden gem 😊

lovely peaceful stay in a beautiful area of Yorkshire, exactly what we needed. lovely clean cabin with everything you could think of and more, added bonus of the hot tub overlooking the countryside. friendly host who made us feel very welcome but also have us the space we needed. felt totally at ease!

We really enjoyed our stay - the pod was comfortable and well equipped, and onsite management team were friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, very quiet; and lots of things to do in the local area. I suspect we will return in the future!

Mariners is a lovely beach house, fairly cosy size but plenty big enough for 2 adults, 2 teenage children and a golden retriever. Only a few minutes down to a lovely huge beach. Would certainly visit again.

The best Air BNB we have stayed at thus far! WOW! Heaven on earth - the place is stunning along with the gardens and amenities! We shall certainly be back! Middleton Lodge over the road (walking distance) and a great benefit being so close along with access to the Dales again breath taking! Fiona gave us some great local spots and should be proud of the place you’ve created… Holiday Blues have already kicked in and only left 7 hours ago!

Thank you Colin for a lovely weekend! The cabin was beautiful- pristinely clean and very well thought-out with lots of lovely little touches to make staying there comfortable. Colin was also extremely kind and flexible with our booking- I broke my toe right before we were originally supposed to stay and he let us rearrange with no fuss- as it was such short notice he had no obligation to do this so it was extremely appreciated! Our trip when it eventually came around was well worth the wait, Colin's instructions made everything very easy and we had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend!

this stay was perfect. the drive past Barnard castle is beautiful with loads of little cafes/pubs/shops ect in the village. On arrival it was super easy to check in and everything we needed was provided. host Julia was so friendly and responsive and made both me and my partner feel so welcome. will be back again!

Only stayed for one night but the hut was such a peaceful, clean and comfortable place. The location is unique with its view over valley and Only 20 minutes into the local town. If you're lucky enough for a clear night the stars are incredible. Please follow the directions given by Ashley, the hut is easy to find.

What a lovely find! Really peaceful, you feel like you are the only ones in the woods. Loads of wildlife to see and the bubbling creek was so soothing and picturesque. We had breakfast outside watching the fields opposite. The property had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. Jordan was so lovely and very attentive, he was quick to assist answer any questions we had. The village is beautiful! We had dinner in The White Bear pub, food was gorgeous and the land lord was such a gent. All in all, a fantastic weekend away!

The piggery was a lovely little find ,breathtaking views , tranquility,lovely to watch in the evening as all the lights come on in the valley,and count the stars , all in all a great stay thanks Barry for the chat ,and Bosco for the cuddles

Had an unbelievable weekend here, wish we had booked another night as there was so much to see in the Yorkshire dales! The pod itself is a perfect size as we’ve stayed in some which are alot smaller and with no hobs or TV so they were a bonus for us. Would definitely book again!

My wife and I stopped here for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were provided clear instructions and were pleased to see the place was spotlessly clean. The amenities were excellent which included washing up needs, Dyson airfan, coffee machine, slippers, dressing gown and a brilliant tv/sound system. The hosts made us feel like home and Fiona gave us some great recommendations in the area. We were even assisted with a lift to the nearest town when we struggled with taxis. I’d recommend anyone staying here to book taxis in advance. We were greeted each morning by a warm welcome from Blue, the friendly black Labrador who is not shy to sit and watch telly with you! 🐶 What a perfect place with friendly hosts and a lovely dog. We’d love to come back in the future. Thank you!

I feel privileged to have stayed at the hut in the wild. The surroundings are breathtaking, the serenity and the privacy are all encompassing.....it's just what was needed. So much thought, attention to detail, sustainability factors, the ethos, all go into every aspect of this little gem. The fresh food hamper was divine, a classy touch, and we loved the fact that we had a few furry and feathered guests to keep us company throughout our stay. Susi is the loveliest lady, she takes the time to answer questions, offers advice, and help in any way possible. I feel honoured to have met her. I came home with lots of ideas about how I can change my lifestyle and to try be more sustainable. Thank you🥰

We really enjoyed our night away in our cosy little shepherds hut. The surroundings were stunning and our hut was absolutely spotless. It was in a great location. We enjoyed a lovely meal in a local pub only 10 minutes drive away. The hot tub was definitely worth the extra £50. It was lovely and hot as we kept adding the logs on the fire. It was a lovely relaxing experience and amanda was a great host. Very helpful and recommended places to eat nearby. We just wish we booked an extra night. We will be returning in the future. We had a lovely peaceful 2 night stay to celebrate my birthday. The hot tub was lovely to relax in after a busy day walking around Brimham Rocks We chose this property for the reason of pure peace, quiet and away from the busy hustle and bustle of life and that’s what we had - the car was parked up for the whole duration, no iPads or phones - I even started to read my first ever book!!! Heaven 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay in the pods and had such a relaxing time! They were super clean and beautiful inside with everything you could need in the kitchen and also had amazing views outside where our dog loved to look through the window. We especially loved how peaceful it was and the TV was an added bonus to relax at night. The location was great, it wasn’t far from Durham for a day trip and lots of local pubs/restaurants a ten minute drive away. Lucy was the perfect host and even let check in early/out late, her communication was top draw and she was super responsive but really appreciated how she left us to our own devices. Would love to stay in Summer and experience the outside a bit more, highly recommend 🙂 thanks again for an amazing stay!

we had such a relaxing a peaceful stay, the site was well maintained, equipped and quiet. the hot tub was hot on arrival, all information provided in a folder, games room, fire pit, kitchen equipment, plenty of cleaning products to keep the place clean. we would 100% come back again.

We had the most incredible time in the shepherds hut. We paid to meet and greet the boys and it was amazing, cat was so lovely and welcoming. The hut was gorgeous inside and the hot tub was just incredible. My fave part was watching and playing with the goats and getting to cuddle the sheep. The most peaceful weekend I’ve had. We will definitely be back x
