Oysters and sea food, cajun cooking and great vegetable sides and salads make this my top fave. You get to enjoy it from the rooftop looking out over the Atlanta city Skyline and historic Oakland Cemetery (bar with TV and tables on the roof). Low-key vibe. They also have a main inside dining room and bar with TVs showing the games. I come here for a dozen raw Gulf oysters on the half shell, the sauteed spinach or spinach salad and the zucchini fries. Or if I'm splurging, the baked scallops plate.

Or grab a seat at the bar for a hip and quiet early evening, then watch the music lovers start to pour in as the night beckons.

This is 120 acres of beautiful forest, a natural spring, and hiking trails with rare Bigleaf magnolias and massive boulder outcroppings, 10 minutes from downtown. And the locals don't even know about it!
