Amazing Japanese food! (not sushi). The menu is pretty small but everything I have had here has been amazing! They also have very well-crafted coffee and tea. Opening hours are limited, but I would highly recommend coming here for lunch, or for an afternoon cup of caffeine on their rooftop.

An amazing vegan diner that even non-vegans adore! Everything is super tasty (don't get the salads though). The sweet potato fries are amazing. Avoid during brunch on weekends, since the wait is insane, but otherwise you usually don't wait much for a table!

Probably the most famous place in the area. Amazing pizza, but it is very popular, so be prepared to wait! They cook a lot of their ingredients in the garden so it's all very fresh and delicious. If you don't feel like waiting, they have a spot next door where you can order pizza to go and eat it in the backyard area.

A must for anyone who likes beer - they have a huge assortment on tap. The space and backyard is HUUGE and rarely fills up. They also hired some local artists to paint some street art inside and in the backyard.

Literally a 15 second walk from the apartment. Great local dive bar with outdoor seating that is great for people watching in nicer weather. People here tend to be more chatty than at other bars as well.
