If you want to try local cousine it is definetly Lavash restaurant. Armenian dishes which are always fresh. The homemade wine is also perfect. You can see on site how armenian traditional bread- Lavash is made and also taste very tasty Armenian dishes. The prices are neither cheap nor expensive. The location is in the perfect centre of Yerevan (my favorite street Tumanyan). It's a cute place mix of Europe and armenian style.

You can find handmade pieces of art , books, jewellry, paintings, crafts , souvenirs and just have fun walking in the park where it is situated and afterwards vist one of the best Italian restaurants in the city on Arami street which called THE ITALIAN or visit KHARBERD restaurant on the 1st floor of Tukenkian hotel on the same street where you also can watch how armenian carpets used to be made centuries ago. You can get here by subway just 5 minutes from my location 3 stations to HANRAPETUTYAN HRAPARAK station.
