Perched on the harbour front the second venture of the renowned Porthminster Beach Cafe team is a rather good one. Smaller plates but the quality, creativeness and presentation of the food is excellent. Definitely a top 5.

Don't let the name fool you... Enjoy sunsets like this in a heated alcove at the excellent Porthmeor Beach Cafe. The views and food are excellent, expect tapas and mediterranean inspired dishes created with finesse. The only shame is it isn’t open all year round.

The brain child of the great motor car designer Austin Healy, the gardens boast wonderful bamboo forests, azaleas and magnolias to name a few. At the bottom of the gardens lies a hidden cove, delightful to swim from or savour an ice cream. Located near Mawnan in South Cornwall.
