At the end of Rings Beach is an entrance to a hiking trail. You can:
- go up to the Tower (15 minutes)
- continue past the track to the tower up to the top of the hill (30 minutes)
- go down the stairs to Matarangi
- or take a left and you're in for a long, but beautiful hike back towards Bluff Road.
