Low Gap Cafe is highly recommended by locals and tourists! It’s only a short 15 miles or so from the cabins. Wonderful food, including steaks, prime rib, seafood and more! A restaurant you wouldn’t expect to find in the ‘middle of nowhere’! You can byob. And on weekends, they have a little band. When the weather is nice, dine on the patio.

Hiking
Hawksbill Crag also known as Whitaker Point is one of the most famous and most scenic hiking trails in this area! You’ll need to drive about 12 miles to get to the trailhead. But it’s so worth it!!

So much to do in this beautiful area!
Hiking, floating the river, riding atvs, and elk watching are just some of things to do up here. Boxley Valley is a beautiful area just 4 miles away, where you can view the beautiful elk. Our only traffic jams up here are usually elk crossing the road! You can also zip line, horseback ride, ride the mountain bike trails up here. Do a little research of towns close by this area. Jasper is a tiny town not far away, where you’ll find the over 100 yr old Ozark Cafe! Eureka Springs is a quaint little town just a short drive away, with cool shops, entertainment, tours, restaurants and bars.
