There are many bike trails and walking routes that will show you all the diverse parts of Grand Rapids. I leave some info for a 2.5-mile walk that will take you through some of the most unique spots to get to know the city.

There are many bike trails and walking routes that will show you all the diverse parts of Grand Rapids. I leave some info for a 2.5-mile walk that will take you through some of the most unique spots to get to know the city.
Neighborhoods
There are many different bars and restaurants, as well as a variety of shops, and it is very walkable through the heart of Creston. There is Creston Market for basic groceries and a great beer selection, as well as Frosty Boy, the local ice cream shop that is only a block away from this home. Buses run all throughout this area, and it is a straight shot to the Medical Mile and downtown.

This is the spot on a hit summer day. Bring your pup for a sundae too! They have really unique ice cream treats, but the ice cream itself…….soooo good!! You’ll see all the neighborhood folks are regulars there. There is also a playground and basketball courts at the adjacent school to burn off the energy!

This is a small but convenient option for a beach. It’s a manmade lake, and swimming is allowed. Head over to Blue Water Grill afterwards and get some great food and cocktails on the deck!
