A short drive from Terrazas Del Mar II, this is another free public beach. This beach is known for its big waves, so it is not for the faint of heart! The tourist bureau has recently stated they will be making improvements to the public amenities here.

This is a restaurant that also has private beach access. A great place to spend an afternoon in the water. The drinks and food is also good, and relatively speaking it is a great value for the cost.

Neighborhoods

The small fishing village of Guayacanes boasts a scenic white sand beach, home to just a couple of restaurants and homes. Fishermen frequently visit as they come in and out of the sea, while locals flock here to toss in the waves and spend a chilled-out day in turquoise waters. Good water shoes are recommended because the beach is rocky in some parts. It is a lovely stroll at sunrise, or late in the afternoon to catch the sunset.
