Visiting sites in DC? Take the Metro!
We are about a 5-minute drive from Grosvenor Metro on the Red Line. Taking the Metro into DC is often easier than driving to avoid worrying about parking, and adds to the adventure of exploring our Nation's Capitol.

Don't be nervous of driving around the DC area!
We’re about 40 driving minutes from the National Mall and the monuments and about 30 driving minutes from sites in northern VA such as Arlington National Cemetery. Of course, DC traffic is unpredictable on the best of days so those drive times are subject to change. There are some toll roads in the area but they are easily avoided; you’ll probably go into DC via the Clara Barton Parkway or the George Washington Parkway, which are lovely drives in the spring, summer, and fall.
