Good eats

Get your brunch and your market essentials all in one place. Get a Mymosa while you're at it — it has half a bottle of champagne and a giant cube of frozen orange juice to keep it nice n' cold. They call it farm-to-table with a twist, and man oh man is it good.

Okay okay - so Velvet Taco started in Dallas, but it's one of my favorite spots for creative tacos. The buffalo chicken and fried paneer tacos are my go-to. Don't forget to grab a Shiner Bock to swish it down with.

Coffee, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks—there is always a reason to hang at Hank's! This hot spot has an amazing coffee shop, a poppin' bar area, a cozy seating area for meals, and a huge, gorgeous patio. Pretty much everything on the menu is to die for, but I especially love the Quiche Lorraine, Pei Mussels, Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the Tomato Bisque. You'll likely want to go here again and again.

Suerte is a restaurant inspired by the people, cooking techniques, and flavors of Mexico. And to me personally, it's the best dang food in Austin!

Sweet treats

Fluffy donuts, cake donuts, and cannoli donuts... you can't go wrong with this creative dessert spot. Voodoo started in Portland, but it's become quite the Austin staple. Stop by and you might just catch some live music or even a wedding!

Coffee spots

Cherrywood is the rare remote working spot that also has an excellent menu. I like to spend my mornings sipping on their coffee with breakfast and then snagging a mimosa or two to end my day. Great outdoor space as well.
