The Best Bits of Newquay
Beaches
Newquay's most famous beach, is home to not only plenty of sand and surf, but also some great restaurants, cafes and a lively bar which is a great place to be as the sun goes down. Sign posts in Newquay will direct you to the north end where there's a large car park that can fill up quickly in the summer so best bet is to arrive early and get a good spot.
The south end is a little quieter and may be more suited to families, although it can become crowded during higher tides. Parking can be had for free at the south on Espanade Road although again this will be busy in the summer. The south of Fistral is accessed via some steep steps so may not be perfect for eveyone.
