Porthleven is a beautiful old fishing village very popular with tourists and locals alike. The village boasts coastal paths for walking, harbour, shops and several traditional Cornish pubs. Water sport hire is also on offer here. One of our favourite places!

Views from the top are fantastic over the North Coast with clear views of St Ives Bay and St Agnes Beacon. Carn Brea Castle is situated here, which has an excellent reputation as a local restaurant.

Situated only a few miles away from the hut. Experience kayaking, sailing and SUP on the reservoir. There is also a 5 mile circular walk and a cafe. The Golden Lion pub is very close by!

Cornwall's premier cycling path! We have cycled from Wadebridge to Padstow and back many times. The cycle path is entirely flat with beautiful views! There are two cycle hire shops in the immediate area. Fish and Chips at Rick Stein's in Padstow is always a nice half way treat!

Highly recommended cafe only a 15 minute walk from the hut. The Cornish breakfast is fantastic. We often stop here for coffee and cake on our walks. Currently closes at 1500.
