Don't Miss These Unique Places

The following places made my list because they are extraordinarily unique, eclectic and quirky, or breathtakingly beautiful, serene and majestic!
A 1/2 mile north of Heritage Hideaway along M-119, you will find Pond Hill Farm, offering a wine and craft beer tasting room (my fav - Tunnel Vision Hard Cider), cafe and many fun outdoor activities for families; tour the vineyard and be sure to stop at the 5 Mile Creek Schoolhouse nearby.

It's less than a 5 minute drive from Heritage Hideaway to Thorne Swift Nature Preserve where you can enjoy a hands-on learning & activity Nature Center, boardwalks through woods and across streams, and the most spectacular sunset views you will find on Lake Michigan. Quickest access to Lower Shore Drive is to head south on M-119 for about a mile, then a sharp right; you can also access Lower Shore Drive via the northern M-119 access point, a bit further away.
