Bedgebury is beautiful for a family day out for all ages. The play areas are suitable for all ages, there is Go Ape for the all over 1m. Bike hire for family rides or red/black runs for the more adventurous. The cafe is great and the walks through the Pinetum stunning. It's currently around £8.00 for the day.

Bewl Water is about 15 minute drive from TW. It has play areas, good walks and a new inflatable assault course on the lake. Booking advised. The cafe is ok for a cuppa and a slice of cake but the food isn't great.

Hever is gorgeous in the summer and has a water play area for hot days. It's about 20 minutes from TW by car. You explore the castle or just stick to the grounds and the cafes are really good. The place is lit up over the Christmas period and you can follow a magical nativity trail.
