Following is our recommendation for street food to try around Hanoi. Some of them are close to our homestay, and some of them are worth travelling a bit for the authenticity of Hanoi cuisine.

There are the two must-trys: Full scoop one (like the picture you see) with either vanilla or chocolate flavors; and Soft ice cream with Chocolate, Vanilla, Matcha or Strawberry flavor. Besides those, there are also other packaged choices for you.

Giang Café in Hanoi has its own history in Hanoian memory.
If you have ever heard "Egg Coffee Hanoi", you should know about this place. Considered as the first place to make coffee with egg in Hanoi, Giang Coffee has lived in hearts of Hanoi people for decades.
Whatever the time goes by, the coffee is pretty delicious mixed by the whole materials as eggs, milk, coffee that you will find them so amazing and unforgettable. The egg flavor is really fat, the coffee flavor are really both fragrant and bold. But the most important factor that make Giang Café unique and different from other restaurants is the formula how to measure exactly the fixed amount of eggs and coffee and the way to mix them perfectly that will decrease maximum the egg sickliness. Although there is a list of another drinks, egg coffee can be called as the best one.

Well known for its signature the whole Coconut Jelly, this place also serves all kinds of desserts and sweets made from coconut. Perfect for a summer day and who have sweet tooth!
