There you can play table tennis for free or numerous of the social games and for the youngest there are large sand play and a spacious terrace on which they can run. The cafe is among the cheapest in the city, which is unbelievable for the pleasure it offers to its guests.

Here you can relax in the shade of trees, drink cold water from the fountain or for those with children, the park abounds with slides, swings and other entertainment gadgets. In the park there are also fitness equipment for adults, and it is a favorite gathering place for dog owners which provides almost unlimited playing and walking area.

Platak is probably the only ski resort in our vicinity where, from the top of the funicular (1363 m), you can enjoy a sea view! Platak is very popular both in winter and in summer. After only a few hours of walking along arranged and marked hiking trails Snježnik and Risnjak peaks, with their beautiful belvederes, will appear. Gravel roads at Platak are excellent for mountain biking or an easy walk through nature, whilst the mountain houses are open throughout the whole year.
