Getting Around
Altufyevo subway station is within 3-5 minutes walking distance from the apartments.
Moscow subway system is the most beautiful and one of the most efficient in the world. Inexpensive as well (one single ride is less than $1). You can get to Red Square from here in just 20-25 minutes. At the same time, road traffic can be horrible. I personally recommend to use mass transit instead of car rent.
All major locations, including stadiums and railroad stations, are located by Moscow Subway stations. Airports are reachable by Aeroexpress (speed trains, 35-40 minutes from city center).
