A higher-end Mexican restaurant that can be found in many cities across Mexico including Guadalajara, Playa del Carmen, and Merida, Porfirios is a treat. You'll find many traditional Mexican options on the menu such as pollo con mole and tacos de canasta. Excellent service and fun food presentation oh and churros for dessert, yum!

The Food Truck Park is a cool place to hang out, enjoy a cold beer and a bite. It's a medium-sized outdoor venue with 5-6 food trucks ranging from sushi to burgers to pizza to tacos al pastor. The food isn't always great but it's a great place to go with a group that can't decide what they want to eat or want a cool place to hang out and listen to live music which is available on occasion.

I have never been to La Leche but I've heard enough good things to include it on this list. It's a high-end, gourmet restaurant. If you like that type of food you'll probably like La Leche.

This place is downright cool, it has the largest TV you've ever seen in a restaurant, they have a gin cart they roll around which they use to make fresh gin and tonics at your table and they do something similar with churros towards the end of your meal. It's pricey but it's a great experience and great for a special ocassion.

Great sushi and fun scene. This place is run by mostly young people and is frequented by local. Really good bang for your buck, I like most of the sushi rolls but am not a fan of their rice bowls.

The best ambiance, dine and drink with your feet in the sand and catch the most stunning sunsets. Food is good, not great but the setting and the cocktails make it well worth a visit. All the cocktails are great but "El Barracuda" is my favorite. Must visit!
