If you are here on the first Thursday, I highly recommend going to the "First Thursdays". They have live music, complimentary drinks and sometimes complimentary Gelato. The exhibits are always rotating.

Sightseeing
Hiking and biking trailheads right up the street. One of my most favorite places to hike because you have great city views. Park at the Reno Sports Complex and hike from there. Here is more information about the trails.

I may offer bikes further down the road, but in the meantime, bring your bike so you can enjoy the ride to and from Downtown. Here is a map of the bike paths from the house. The red square is the general area.

Driving
It is usually easy to find parking in Downtown Reno. You can park for free at most of the casino parking garages. There is also metered parking, which is free after 6pm.
