Great for hiking and biking.
Relatively close. There is a tram ride to get closer to the trail head. You can hike a couple of hours to Seven Falls and actually get in the water along the way. Beautiful.

A Tucson must-see location--and it is so easily accessible from our house. Less than an hour through five eco-zones to the top where you can find snow (winter and early spring) and incredible views for a hundred miles! Most cyclists love our location for the close proximity of this challenging ride. Wonderful summer hiking and ski lift rides!

A Tucson must-see location--and it is so easily accessible from our house. Less than an hour through five eco-zones to the top where you can find snow (winter and early spring) and incredible views for a hundred miles! Most cyclists love our location for the close proximity of this challenging ride. Wonderful summer hiking and ski lift rides!

I know, it is an hour away, but it is the best tourist thing to do if you want to see wildlife and learn anything about the desert to take back with you. Fabulous guides, lovely trails, awesome desert animals and birds in a realistic setting. Must see.
