Although a 40 minute drive from Fishguard the Falls are worth a visit with newly made walkway alongside the river allowing good access and starting point for a brisk walk. Parking is reasonable at £2.50 all day.

Situated in the heart of Fishguard, the Royal Oak provides excellent food and a good atmosphere for the whole family. And it was the setting for the signing of a peace treaty with the French in 1797, following the last recorded invasion of Britain.
