Beaches

Sardinera beach, also known as Punta Maracayo in Hatillo, is steps from Highway # 2 in the Carrizales neighborhood. The beach is crystal clear in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, which has a wall of rocks that separate the shore from the open sea and serve as breakwaters preventing strong waves from entering. This barrier creates a perfect space for the whole family to enjoy its natural pool and its crystal clear waters safely. Its peculiar sand is covered with small smooth stones similar to that of rivers. The beach itself is pleasant sand and has a natural wall along the north shoreline that blocks the waves, making it a lovely and quiet pool.
