Arts & Culture

The Wildey Theatre Opened in 1909 as an opera house but went through a lot of troubles and transformations over the decades. Recognizing the importance of the Wildey Theatre, the City of Edwardsville acquired the property with a state grant and resurrected the old theater which is once again a venue for live performance and classic films.
